I want to digress a bit. Is it true that putting breast milk in a baby's eyes will make them clear? My MIL just said I should start putting it in my baby's eyes. I know I won't do it though. It's just new to me and that's why I'm asking.

What's the distance btw the bed and the floor? If its up to 4 feet, pray to God it wasn't the head he use to impact the floor! Only a miracle will protect him from a condition I wldnt want to put here. The symptoms are not immediate but later when he's growing, so don't feel relaxed if you didn't notice any harm now. You must have been a deep sleeper for you not to have noticed your 1 month old baby fell cos he's gonna cry.

Take him to see a consultant paed for full examination esp blood clot( once you mention clot paed knows the area to check).

Also, if you can afford a baby cot, pls get one. Its risky sleeping with a baby on the same bed for fear of suffocation esp for deep sleepers or you put your mattress on the floor. Good luck to you

Went to the hospital today and examining him, the Dr said he's fine that i should be giving him vit-c. Thank you all very much

Thanks to you all. I really appreciate all your comments and suggestions. We noticed a small wound on his nose and we believed the blood is from there so My husby called his sister that is a nurse and she said we should give him vit c, ampicilline and brustan-n (ibuprofen oral suspension) and press him with hot water. Hv pressed him the hot water bt hv not given him the drugs yet coz I'm scared. Pls should i give him those drugs? Husby and MIL said no hospital coz its just a fall since the baby is fine.

Thanks to you all. I saw a little stain of blood that came out from one of his nose bt when I looked deep into his nose, i didn't see any blood. As for his temperature, it's normal dou i gave him pcm when it happened. Am confuse right as i don't know to do.

sorry dear, it happens. press his body frm head to toe for pain. if no swelling or pain then just b reassured. my baby too has fallen off d bed a no of tyms and thankfully there was no injury

I need help on what to do. My one month baby fell down on a tiled floor, I fell asleep on the bed with him on my chest and woke up to see him on the floor sleeping. Pls ooh!

I fell asleep with my one month old baby on my chest and woke up to see him sleeping on the floor (he fell down from my body to the tiled floor). He's breathing well and has gone back to sleep after being breast feed. Hop there is nothing to worry abt?.

So sorry for posting it late. On Friday being the 14th day of Nov, i woke up with little abdominal pain that was on & off. I kept myself bizzy through out the whole day, then by 9pm the contraction became steady, i went to the hospital the midwife checked me & said I'm 4cm dilated. I went out & start walking around till 11:55pm when my water broke, i was checked again & she said my baby was still far. When the pain became unbearable, i started shouting & begging God to help me, when i couldn't bear the pain any longer, i jumped from the bed & started running around the whole place, when i got tired i went back to my bed, she checked again & said madam you can now push & after several pushes my cute prince came out around 5am weighing 5kg.
