well, it is quite unfortunate majority of Nigerians lack exposure, were poorly brought up, had poor education, etc. So they dont know their right. This is what i have been saying: politicians were elected, and paid to fix these things. So when they do, they are not doing us a favour, they are paid from our collective wealth and tax. Nigerians dont understand. They praise sing these guys.

These politicians if u see how humble they usually become when they get to other countries where their citizens understand what leadership is all about.

It is a pity only few among us understand that politicians arent doing us any favour by doing what they were paid to do.
I’ll agree and disagree with you ‘bout Nigerians not knowing their right . The problem isn’t the civilians but the military, police and other high government officials.

The civilians have little knowledge of what it’s going on in government and I guess that’s what you mean by poor education ? You will surprised ‘bout the number of people who doesn’t know where the government office in their various states are .

The military who could easily hijack the government and turns things around for better ain’t complaining nor the police , how much more the civilians who has a little voice ?

You sound intelligent and smart , what are you doing to changes this obstacle ? Ever gather a lot of people for protesting ? I just hiss whenever I see people blaming the civilians toward the government. We ain’t ready yet , until then .

When you keep applauding these people when they do what they are elected to do, You reduce their sense of responsibility as they tend to conclude they have done enough to deserve such praises. Request for accountability on that road and tell what Nigerian doesn’t know about the cost. In todays generation, Policy making beats infrastructure.

The Infrastructure we spend Government funds to build, will require maintenance. A good policy will see private investors putting in the work for whatsoever Infrastructure we deserve. You cannot continue to feed a child and provide everything for him. Because, when that child is grown and cannot depend on you anymore (then start stealing).
