This right here is a picture of Infinix mobility teasing the launch of another smartphone before they call it a wrap for the year. infinix big 6 As the picture above depicts, this new device would be given a street name Infinix big 6 (just as the zero 2 called Infinix hero). Few hours ago, mobility (Hell! we love this site) leaked exclusive photos of this new device set for launch on the 27th of this month. Along with the pictures came speculated specifications. If those speculations are anything to go by, then we are in for a treat. We have predicted a price tag of 35 – 40k for this device based on the speculations and the pricing history of this OEM – but remember it’s just a prediction. Infinix mobility has done a nice job pleasing their customers over the years. They are one of the few budget-centric OEMs that have consistently rolled out updates to their devices (although some not over the air). This has made us think back to what a great 2015 Infinix mobility have had in terms of user reception and phones released. From January up till this moment, Infinix mobility launched just 4 smartphones, and from statistics, every single one of these smartphones has done well. Oya go’an look for pop-corn! Let’s take a trip down memory lane. ![]() Infinix Smartphones This Year so far includes continue reading from the Nigerian Technology Blog

New Android phones appear with outstanding features, but far too few of them really seem … new. Sure, cameras keep getting better and phones keep getting faster. For the most part, though, you’d be hard-pressed to single out many new features that aren’t just tweaks for the sake of tweaking. Though manufacturers frequently customize Google’s Android software to set their phones apart, those alterations often just make things worse by hiding features or breaking some apps. So it’s a delight to see three phones with unusual characteristics in their hardware — all released in a span of just nine days. BlackBerry’s first Android phone is notable for its physical keyboard, while Motorola designed its screen to withstand cracking from accidental drops. LG’s new phone has two screens and two front cameras. The list of the New Android Phones With Outstanding Features Includes; Read more from the Nigerian Technology News Blog |

F22RAPTOR:its a lie? why didn't you try to block mark zuckerberg on facebook... |
You can try as hard and harder as you want, but you cannot block Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook. There’s been a rash of stories lately about this, but Zuck has been unblockable for years. Disappointingly, it’s not a joke by Facebook’s engineers, down to Zuckerberg’s vanity, or because he needs to keep an eye on you. According to Mashable, it’s the product of a safeguard built in to the site to prevent trolling campaigns against certain people. If one account has been blocked a lot in a short space of time, the safeguard will kick in and prevent any more blocks, just in case the person is being targeted by bullies or a viral campaign. Facebook says the system is there to Continue Reading |

Google’s Nexus 6P full review range of devices has become iconic, with a devoted following. In a departure from precedent, this year’s Nexus range has two smartphones: the Nexus 5X (Review | Pictures) and theNexus 6P. The current Nexus device has always been used to show off the newest version of Android, and now Android Marshmallow comes pre-loaded on both new models. While the polycarbonate Nexus 5X has been designed to appeal to the majority of buyers thanks to its convenient size and lower price, the Huawei-built Nexus 6P is an all-metal powerhouse of a smartphone. Priced at Rs. 39,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 42,999 for the 64GB variant, the Nexus 6P is Google’s idea of premium. This is a device meant to satisfy the needs of the Android elite; the no-holds-barred smartphone that represents Android in the purest sense. Does the Nexus 6P live up to those expectations? We find out in our review. follow the link to read in full ==> http://addednew.com/google-nexus-6p-full-review/ |

Skype Co-Founders Invent An Autonomous Robot That Drives Down Sidewalks To Deliver Packages It’s becoming a rising trend for companies to start testing drone delivery services to quickly send packages to consumers. Now, former co-founders of Skype are joining Amazon an[d Google on the quest to have robots deliver your goods. The former co-founders, Ahti Heinla and Janus Friis, announced the launch of their new company, called Starship Technologies, which has invented an autonomous robot that will drive down sidewalks to send local groceries and goods for free. “Our vision revolves around three zeroes — zero cost, zero waiting time and zero environmental impact. We want to do to local deliveries what Skype did to telecommunications,” Heinla, CEO of Starship Technologies, said in a press release. The company’s fleet of small, electric robots are free of CO2 emissions, making them an environmentally-friendly alternative that will blend “safely in with pedestrian traffic.” The delivery robots will use obstacle avoidance and navigation software to be able to be driven autonomously, although human operators will monitor them for safety. They will be able to carry up to two bags of groceries (up to 20 lbs) and send the item within five minutes to half an hour from a local store at a speed of 4 mph. Consumers will be able to select their time of delivery and track the robot in real-time in anticipation of their items via a smartphone app. The robot will lock the packages while rolling down the sidewalk, with only the recipient being able to open them upon delivery by using the app. (Photo : Starship Technologies) “With ecommerce continuing to grow consumers expect to have more convenient options for delivery— but at a cost that suits them. The last few miles often amounts to the majority of the total delivery cost. Our robots are purposely designed using the technologies made affordable by mobile phones and tablets — it’s fit for purpose, and allows for the cost savings to be passed on to the customer.” Businesses will be able to send goods in bulk to a centralized hub to have the fleet ship them out, and have the robots recharge when necessary. Starship Technologies is in the process of testing robot prototypes, with plans to launch the pilot service in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries next year.
