Millionaire. Its a title that many of us would love to have. But, is that actually feasible?

Becoming a millionaire is a goal that can be achieved by anybody if you have what it takes and ready to become who you have never be before. The Book is about Boy Name Jakes Nelson born into the family of eight. His good but poor father had difficulty putting food on the table for his children. The family used to eat best twice a day. Jakes became frustrated. He concluded that God hates his family.
Mr. Thompson, the school teacher, was in class that day teaching. For jakes, it was not just a teaching, it was a revelation. The topic was Man and his environment. God did not only create man, He also provided in abundance all that man would ever need was the teachers main point. If all we need had been abundantly provided for by God, then we have no excuse for being poor Jakes reasoned. With further instructions from Mr. Thompson, jakes was introduced into the power of thinking (idea) as a way of solving problems. Thinkers rule the world I guess.

From hours and Days of thinking Jakes became a cobbler and later a professional shoe-maker, making good money from the business but he was not rich yet. His encounter with the billionaire Mr. George, turned his life around drastically. The shoe maker-became a millionaire. No, it was not Mr. Georges money that made him rich but Mr. Georges wisdom.

Back to my reason for writing this post, I am going to share what I learnt from the book.

1. You have to think: Thinking is not a lazy man job. That is why there are many poor people in the world. Do you know it is harder to think for thirty minutes than to carry a bag of cement? Ask yourself difficult questions as regard whatever you want to know and engage yourself in deep thinking trying to answer those questions. During the process of thinking idea will begin to come and we have certain things about idea

You can learn from any man in the world without seeing him personally; just read his books and you will learn within short time what took him years to learn.

4. Have a mentor: The importance of mentor cant be overlook, we all at one particular stage of our life, have mentors, that guide us; Give us the do's and don't of Business, Academics, Money, Success, Greatness and related Subjects. You having a mentor make things easier, you don't make the mistakes they make. You borrow their experience

5. Associate with others: Exposure to people who are more successful than you are have the potential to expand your thinking and skyrocket your income.


6. Getting Rich is not a Matter of Luck: The Poor die poor waiting for luck. Right before I read the book, I always think, getting rich is about luck, always thinking about the day, i will stumble upon bag of money on the road, alas they are all illusion. You only get rich by doing something different, you get rich by solving people problem.


7. Getting Rich is not about the certificate: You can be a University professor and be poor but you can't possess wisdom and be poor. Most of the University professors who give lectures on business and finance are not rich, so, their words are only based on theory. You need a man who started poor teach you the language of money, not necessarily a professor.

Cynthia a girl of 17 years old, New to Social Media Which she got introduced to by her friend, Tayo.
She was anxious and curious to explore the internet but what she get in return was bad. She failed to access to important aspect of internet. She started with Facebook “What is on your Mind”

She took a picture with her newly purchased phone, posted it on Facebook with the hope of having many likes and Comments like her friend Tayo but she was disappointed when she saw 3 likes and 1 comment from one of her male classmates and the comments was even making jest of her.

She became a person of Low self-esteem and seek people consent on social media before doing things, she only believe she is endowed when guys comment on her pics.

In Brother Bayo Room, she was raped and lost her dignity forever.

The effects of Social media on teen this days is alarming, it is increasing the rate of Procrastination, it is causing depression, it is causing comparison, it is causing hatred and it might decrease the productivity of those who can’t control it.

Social media is like a refuse dump, in a refuse dump, you find things that are useful and things that are not, on social media you will see lots of things, but all you need you to do is make use of filter and sieve out those information you need and those that can affect you.
