D mechanic is saying d cause of this is probably low gear oil. Stating dat normally when u remove both shafts gear oil is meant to drop but in mine it didn't drop

it can still be salvaged but not by that same mechanic that introduced dirt there. Sometimes, flushing that system repeatedly solves the problem as the dirt most times will be flushed out. This is if it was done on time before more damage is done.

Good morn. I changed my both left and right shaft of my 2010 Camry. But after picking up my car Nd driving for a while I noticed dat once I accelerate to d point of reaching d next gear, d car will just pull back and u will feel d backward push. Infact it can't go higher Dan gear 1. At first it was moving smoothly but I guess once d car was heated up it starts to act abnormally . It can't even reverse again. My mechanic said I shud bring it back . But I am scared of driving it back to d workshop so I don't cause more damage to d gear.

Unfortunately the damage has been done already.
Your best bet is scanning the car for transmission related codes (you'll likely get some solenoid codes) and carrying out a transmission oil flush while keeping fingers crossed.

Just start and press with cash, get relevant info before you choose the location .Alimosho Is a big mess, wasted time & effort for marriage change of name. I did DIY till they frustrated themselves and I even sorted for the file submission, wifey could not capture even at that. We wasted 5months.
