At this time, you may not have the same sales as those that have been there for years except you have the capital. In such environment/market, there are always areas you will have advantage. For instance, some customer can not afford to buy full pack but half. Those big distributor do not sell half, so that is where you come in. Another example is where the customer wants mixed pack. Those distributor do not sell mixed packs, so you are the one that will get those sets of customer.

Additionally, newer products are entering the market everyday and those old big distributors are not interested in those new products. So, in the bid to have their new products in the market, the manufacturers look for honest small time people like you who have shops in the market. Don't be surprise that in a short period, you may become big distributor of an emerging product.

Look for what most people in that particular line are selling and start selling it too, that is how inside market business works. You won't look for customer because they already know that the particular item(s) is sold in that part of the market. Even other store owners will come to buy from you when they are out of stock, to fulfill their customers orders. Once you start, and get to know the very big wholesalers, they will not even mind giving you their goods on credit but you have to be honest in your dealings with them.

dats an idea. like my line they mostly sell drinks viju, big kola juice etc. and dey are distributors. dey are in it big tym. don't tink it will advisable profitwise
