brother,yesterday i downloaded linux 17.3 and removed ubuntu...everything works fine no problems..thanks once again for the tutorials am still flexing with it...bye bye to forever in search of windows driver

No need to reinstall

$ sudo apt-get install wicd
$sudo wicd &

Refresh and scan for wifi in wicd network manager gui interface. Select d wifi. Click properties and enter d wifi password.

try typing

Username@Ubuntu ~ $ ifconfig

at the command line, when you do so, I would like for you go ahead and take a screenshot (please edit out the MAC-Address/Hardware address information) It should look something like this. 00-7A-23-45-67-89 or something similar to that. Try to edit it out. You may see colons or hyphens. It's a 48-bit address.

If you can not connect to wi-fi, let's trouble shoot it.

Please type ifconfig at the command line. You should see all your Network Interface Cards (NIC). Please take a screenshot and post it here.

This may be a case of the DHCP not assigning your respective NIC a local IP address, or your computer may not be detecting your NICs at all.

i see nothing wrong in leaving school at a tender age. The young man is 10 years old and he is in jss 3, this means he would be writting his waec exams and graduating by age 13.the same applies to his younger brother My advise to the parents of both boys is that since most of the universites in nigeria entry dictates that the child must be 16 not later than october 31st on the year of admission to be cleared. For the three years they would be at home, they could learn a skill, do cambrigde A levels or ican examinations. As per the skills i would recommend knowledge of ict or fashion designing.

Cant stop using qualcomm procesor phones. Tecno or infinix cannot carry the kind of work i do with phones

I recommend C Programming Absolute Beginner's Guide, 3rd Edition by Greg Perry and Dean Miller.

Also, The C Programming Language, 2nd Edition by Brian W. Kernighan and Dennis M. Ritchie.

I used both books when learning C. The second is more advanced and I'd only recommend if you have previous programming experience.

There are some common mistakes made when dual-booting ubuntu with Windows. Usually, it's advisable to install Windows as the first OS. Window's bootloader(program that loads the OS on boot) usually takes up the first parition/MBR on the hard disk. Hope this isn't too technical.
