hmm, and I'm having issues with the battery now. bought one in June and it was perfect, working fine. suddenly started taking hours like 8 hours to fully charge, sometimes sef it discharges while plugged in was advised to change the charger which I did, still no improvement. otherwise, the phone is very good. any suggestions? Yeah it takes time to charge, especially when you re using it...although the charger you re using it with also matters 1 Like |

Aminu212: I think you should find a PC, download the stock ROM and flash it yourself. Pls i want to ask u some questions about the phone because I like to buy it from konga. 1. Does it supports otg? 2. is the battery durable? Thanks. I tried flashing it but the downloader I used corrupted the file twice which was 1.4 gb total that why I don't want to anymore....am not sure if it supports otg but the battery is very durable. |

Phones / Re: 5 Reasons To Buy An Android Phone With A Removable Battery by dabigjoe6(m): 12:56am On Jun 04, 2016 |
DerKaiser:
Phone freezing is directly related to ram management and not CPU.
Ram allocation would determine how many applications you can run at a time. The more applications you run,the less ram you have and the more likely that your phone would freeze.
An average mobile phone user runs multiple applications at a time including background applications and processes like Whatsapp, Facebook, Operating System, Voice search and so on, that stay active even when not launched.
These background applications and processes consume lots of ram.
When your phone runs out of ram and cannot free up some automatically, it freezes the phone.
Cpu determines how fast and smooth a single app runs when active and should interest mostly gamers and power users. a 1gb phone is above average for the type of apps available for android...the reasons why most phones freeze is because of bugs in certain applications and not ram, the phone might only lag 1 Like |

What About Having A Chromebook. I Learnt U Can Install Linux On It yea you can but most chrome books contains low specs which will be ok for low processor and ram programming |
Phones / Re: 5 Reasons To Buy An Android Phone With A Removable Battery by dabigjoe6(m): 7:11am On Jun 03, 2016 |
DerKaiser: In order to avoid phone freezes, stop buying a 1GB Ram phone and at the same time attempting to run demanding apps or games like Fifa 16, NBA2k15, Asphalt 8 and so on...on the phone. It would often freeze the phone and deteriorate the internals very quickly.
Always insist on a phone with at least 3GB of ram and up-to-date GPU. They are the standard for 2 years now.
Huawei, Xiaomi, Meizu, Oppo, OnePlus are some of the OEMs that provide top class phones for very reasonable and affordable prices and almost all their phones come with Ram starting from 3GB.
Even the upcoming OnePlus3 is rumoured to be coming with 6GB Ram.
Always go for higher phone specifications over aesthetics and you would never have to worry about phone freezes.
Phone freezes are now a thing of the past for regular users of phone. a 1gb ram phone is always ok what matters is your processor, i had am innjoo i1s and i ran gta san andreas at that time with no problem |

mutvy: To me, the third reason is the most important. I later learnt that it is a new strategy deviced by phone manufacturers to force buyers to buy new phone, indirectly boosting their sales and invariably preventing them from running out of business. They (Manufacturers) believe that once your battery has deteriorated, you have no option other than to change it. Another strategy on the way is SIMless phone to prevent robbery and easier identification.
Its not true, non removeable batteries do not have terminals like the removeable ones which makes it slimmer thats why most manufacturers use it |
