Prestige was only manufactured in Nigeria, whereas this one was imported. So, it’s not a Prestige.

This particular engine was taken from a 307. Although it’s exactly the same engine as the one used in the 406, it came from a 307.

It's whether your Accounting degree + technical training + renewable-energy experience satisfy the academic requirements for THIS particular MSc.

2nd choice — Exeter: Global Sustainability Solutions MSc

This may give you a more natural bridge to your transition, depending on the exact requirements and how your professional experience has developed.

I'd still need to check your actual work history and the content of your technical training before calling it a strong fit.

3rd choice — Sussex: Sustainable Finance & Accounting MSc

Interesting choice.

Your Accounting background gives you a much more obvious academic connection here, while your renewable-energy experience could potentially support the sustainability angle.

But again, the exact programme requirements and your professional history matter.

And then there's Chevening.

Your 2:2 does not automatically end the conversation, but Chevening eligibility and competitiveness involve much more than your degree classification.

Your work experience, leadership, networking, career plan and how convincingly you explain this transition will matter.

So if I were assessing this profile, my FIRST question wouldn't be:

"Is NOUN recognised?"

I'd ask:

And I'd also want to know:

• How many years of renewable-energy experience?
• What exactly is your current/previous job title?

That's not how postgraduate admission works.

THE DEGREE TITLE IS ONLY ONE PART OF THE STORY.

STOP CHECKING ONLY YOUR DEGREE TITLE AND CGPA.

Look at the actual academic background.

And this brings me to something people overlook all the time:

YOUR TRANSCRIPT. 👀

Your transcript can tell a university much more about your academic preparation than simply saying:

"I studied BSc Economics."

For example, you're applying for an MSc that expects previous study involving statistics, mathematics, econometrics or other quantitative subjects.

The question isn't only:

"Do you have a BSc?"

The question becomes:

"Does your previous academic training meet what THIS MSc is asking for?"

That's a completely different level of checking.

NOUN has an official system for transcript requests and verification, including international transcript requests.

So if you're planning to use a NOUN qualification abroad, don't treat your transcript as something you'll worry about after getting admission.

Your academic record matters.

Now let's get to another issue.

AUTHENTICATION ≠ ADMISSION.

For Nigerians using academic qualifications abroad, there can also be documentation, authentication and qualification-related requirements depending on the country, institution and purpose.

The Federal Ministry of Education has processes relating to authentication of Nigerian academic qualifications for purposes including study abroad.

But authentication simply helps establish that the qualification/document is genuine or properly verified.

It does NOT mean a foreign university is automatically required to admit you.

The university still has its own programme requirements.

And immigration/visa assessment is another matter entirely.

ADMISSION ≠ VISA.

So don't mix all these stages together.

You can have:

Qualification → Verification/Documentation → University Admission → Visa/Immigration

Different stages.

Different checks.

Different decision-makers.

NOW HERE IS THE BITTER PART. 🔥🔥🔥

Someone will tell you:

"My friend used NOUN to get admission abroad."

Okay.

But what exactly was your friend's profile?

What did they study?

What was their CGPA?

What Master's did they apply for?

Which university?

Which country?

What courses were on their transcript?

Did they have relevant work experience?

Did the university have the same requirements you're looking at?

Because:

YOUR FRIEND'S SUCCESSFUL NOUN APPLICATION IS NOT YOUR ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT.

One person says:

"I used NOUN BSc to get admission in the UK."

Then another person concludes:

"NOUN is accepted in the UK. I'm good."

Accepted for WHAT?

That's the question.

A university may accept applicants with a particular qualification while still requiring specific academic content, grades or prerequisites for the programme you're targeting.

And career switching makes this even more important.

That's one conversation.

Different conversation.

BSc English → MSc Data Science?

Now we need to investigate the quantitative/technical requirements very carefully.

So the issue isn't simply:

"Is NOUN good?"

The real question is:

"Does THIS academic background make sense for THIS Master's programme at THIS university?"

"Which country is cheap?"
