DonTwice:Hello, Trust you are good? Sorry did paga refund the IHS and Visa fee that was debited from your bank card and how did you go about it if you were refunded. I got debited yesterday for a failed transaction when I tried to pay for visa. Thank you |
Aprokodaughter:Thanks for your response @Aprokodaughter. I did not know the calculations are different. I already added 4 months as Visa expiry date to my partner visa dependant IHS and I paid same fee as mine. For my 2 children dependant. I did not add the 4 months as Visa expiry date on IHS and I have not made payment yet. Would you suggest I cancel my partner visa dependant application and use my original course end date or I should continue with the visa application by paying for his Visa fees. Thank you |
MaEssien:Sorry did you read the part where someone said she paid the same IHS charge for herself and all her dependants? I would not go ahead to pay for a different IHS fees for my dependents when people are paying the same IHS fees. I need to be sure so it does not affect my application More suggestions are needed. Thank you |
SandraDee:Thanks for this information. For my partner dependant, I added 4 months to my course end date as Visa expiry and it came up with the same amount which I had already paid. Should I fill another application for my child dependant and add 4 additional months to my course end date so I can pay the same amount which I paid? I'm worried about the IHS payment difference to avoid NOT STRAIGHT FORWARD EMAIL FROM UKVI. Please advise. |
smoothine:My course is for 15 months. However as the main applicant, I was not asked for Visa expiry date and I paid $1290.56. I read somewhere online that I am supposed to add 4 months to my course end date as Visa expiry date when paying IHS for dependants. See below what I read on Uni of Warwick website. Please advise

Hi guys. Please assist with a response to this question. I am about to pay for IHS for my child dependant. My IHS calculation was $1290.56 which I had already paid but now that I am about to pay for my child. It asked for my visa expiry date but I don't even have a visa yet, I put my course end date and it brought out 967.92. Is there something I have done wrong because its calculating a different IHS fees My course begins January 18 and ends April 30, 2022. Thank you |

Good Morning Gurus. Trying to fill the visa application form online. What do I choose here please. See attached
|
Chreze:Congratulations on your Visa. I have few questions below. Will appreciate your answers 1. Did you write a Cover letter for yourself/spouse to support your application. Example by explaining the living expenses funds for your wife and child is in your bank account. 2. On the visa application form with the question "Do you know where you will be staying in the UK? Did you answer Yes by inputting your school address or you you answered No and stated that you will be staying in a private accommodation. |
uddy101:1. Birmingham city University deposit is between 1500 to 2000. 2. Not sure |
mimilyrics:Thanks @mimilyrics for the swift response. As advised, I just clicked NO to Do you know where you will be staying in the UK and it brought out the question below in bold. Give as much detail as possible of where you intend to stay, for example in a hotel, private housing, or with friends. Include the names of anyone else you will live with and their relationship to you. My question now is should I ignore to answer the above and just input my school address? Thanks |
Hi Justwise and other gurus in the house. I have been following up with this thread and I have gotten a whole lot of information which has helped me to begin this journey. I am married with 1 child, I am the primary applicant and will be going to the UK with my husband and my child. The 28 days funds in my account has now matured and about to apply for Tier4 Visa for myself and my 2 dependents. However, there are some concerns I need to be clear with on the visa application form and I would appreciate if I can get answers from the experts here. Below are my questions. 1. For confirmation. Will my visa type be Student Visa since there is no Tier 4 visa on the form 2.. For confirmation. Will my spouse visa type and child visa type be Partner Dependant visa and Child Dependant visa respectively? 3. What will be the answer on the Visa application form which says Do you know where you will be staying in the UK? I do not have an accommodation in the UK yet though. 4. Will I add my husband where it says does anyone rely on you for financial support? I am asking this question because my husbands living expenses 6120 pounds is in my bank account. Although he is the bread winner. 5. Do you have a UK National Insurance number? 6. Will myself or my husband require Cover letter and budget sheet breakdown. 7. Will my husband provide his bank account statement? Sorry for my plenty questions. Thank you ALL. |
