It should be understood that though commendable, the letter above shows clearly that, it was the invitation to attend the summit that was rejected because of the security concerns and the timing. It therefore will not be right to assume or come to conclusion that it was the award that was rejected. So it is only proper for us to read and understand the content of a letter or writeup clearly before passing positive or negative comments. |

All Muslims,Christians and even Jews believe and agree that there is God. Since the inception of religious activities in the world obedient to the one Lord ,God: The Creator of heaven and earth and all that encompasses within it is key. His commandment is that you should worship/serve him alone. Will it then be too much for you to recognise your creator, master, who created you as he wishes and terminates your life as he desires to accept that you are His servant and slave? Every normal human being knows his father and mother, with few exceptions. If you ask your father, grandfather, they will also tell you they were born by somebody but created by God. According to both Quran and Bible, the God/Allah we worship is one , Quran112:1-4, Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29 . Therefore humbling yourselves before your creator, recognising him as the all in all or Alpha and Omega is not devaluing your prestige or reducing your recognition by him .It will only make him feel recognised, and he will love you more. In summary we are all slaves of Allah whether we like it or not because he controls all aspects of our lives. |
I am interested in the graduate scheme but i'm currently close to 50years of age ,currently unemployed but have lots of responsibilities. I think the best thing is for govt to leave the scheme open to all able and willing graduates to apply. |
The Igbos have forgotten that in politics, there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. They regard Hausas and Yorubas as their enemies, and yet want to be loved by all. They like to dominate others but their hatred for others will never allow them,no one therefore is ready to trust them a bit. Within themselves ,how reliable are their leaders and past political office holders in terms of developing their States in the last 16 years of being in the mainstream politics? Ibos' problem is not being part of Nigeria but lack of trust and bad bele towards others. The earlier they change their animosity towards others the better for them.If your brother offends you it's rather absurd to disown him since nobody is infallible, you can likewise offend him tomorrow. If you attempt to kill him because he offends you and he escapes he will never trust you. |
The mystery of Bermuda triangle is no more than the atmospheric conditions that nature bestowed on the area. It's an isolated area of the Atlantic Ocean, there is low traffic across the triangular area. Couple with this is the fact that a strange cloud and wind around the place makes it easy for ship to wreck or even a plane to crash there (this can also occur in any part of the world if visibility is poor, like the case of a plane crash that occurred around Obudu cattle ranch in Cross River State, Nigeria because of visibility problem some years ago.(I've been to Obudu before and I know quite well that the sky there is somehow cloudy and different from other parts of Nigeria, even different from the nearby town in Vandekya LG area of Benue State, a treckable distance. Coming back to the topic of Bermuda triangle, since it is a dreaded area because of the publicity that surrounds it, people tend to avoid passing through the area. Therefore if a ship sinks there or a plane crashes there, it will be difficult to trace because of the visibility problem and the inherent fear. Even within days if the wreck is finally found, there is high probability that sea animals of the lonely area will have made a feast on the corpses. This research of mine is both based on physical and spiritual concerning the area. Notwithstanding, opinions vary on the mystery surrounding Bermuda triangle but personally i am convinced that it's more dependent on nature than on an assumed devil. |
Senator Buruji Kashamu is a great philanthropist. If the so called saints who have been in positions of authority are unwilling to ameliorate the sufferings of the masses, they want you to sell your father's landed properties before you can go for higher education and yet when u graduate they will rather prefer to use u as tools for their reelection than to allow you to be gainfully employed.Even if you are related to them they will not help, they will make fake promises to you until you are tired of meeting them, you will definitely quit by yourself. Not to mention about if you are not related to them you can never gain access to them except during election periods. Now coming back to SBK he is man of the people, he likes spending money, whether you know him or not once you get access to him ,which is very easy especially during weekends in his home town,if your problem is costing him millions, he asks you few questions by himself to determine the genuineness of the problem. Whether you are Hausa,Ibo,or Yoruba he doesn't want to know, he solves the problem for you. Be it medical operations, educational problems etc.Now coming back to the issue at hand,If he has allegations bordering on drugs in the U.S as alleged or in any part of the world, the question is that when was that? The next question is during OBJ years in office if the offence was committed earlier than then, why wasn't he prosecuted, if found guilty handed over to the U.S who made the allegations? I am not holding brief for SBK or anybody for that matter but the truth is that he is presumed innocent until adjudged guilty by a competent court.Let's just leave this man alone and tell other politicians to emulate him by supporting the masses rather than playing politics with our lives.Another politician that i see who really has the interest of the masses at heart apart from PMB,MKO,is SenatorJMK a former senator from Ago Iwoye Ogun State with exception of our national leaders during the regional govt of the 60s and 70s.Nobody is a saint, according to the Holy Bible all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God. If properly governed Nigeria deserves to be the best economy in the world. |
