After 7 years of missing out on my girls finally the judge has granted me full custody of my girls, it wasn't easy but I thank the almighty God for helping me winning this battles. The girls are bonding so well with myself , wife and their siblings we are so happy that our family is now completed. My advice to my brothers who are still single do not make the mistake of marrying a daughter of a single mother who had kids with multiple men please please don't try it or else you will suffer like me.

They are 2 years plus and 4 months old, yes my wife is aware and she doesn't have any problem with it.

How do you plan to take care of the girls when you are granted full custody?

Money is not a problem for me .I am married and I have 2 other children , I will take care of them the same way I am taking care of their siblings.

Firstly, you know where they are.

Secondly, you know they are well taken care of and they are happy.

I do agree that seeing them and spending time with them is also for your happiness. But like someone said up there, the present situation also gives you time to work and yourself and be more productive even for them.

If you really want to see them, simply go to where they are. Spend time with them there. You can do that as frequently as possible. The only way you can be stopped from seeing the children is through a court which will find your late wife’s twin guilty of flouting an initial court order (I don’t think she wants this).

If you want to see them, just do it.

Going where they are is impossible because she packed out of her old house and changed their school , she refused to give me her address or the children new school.

I have already missed out 6 years of their life and I don't want to miss anymore, they are still young and this is a good opportunity for me to bond with them now than later when they will become adults it won't work and I am talking from experience.

Going back to court is the only option I have left or else I will never see them again until they are adults which I don't want.

Your story has always been incomplete. They took their now late daughter away and also took away the kids/your kids that she left behind. Surely, their must've been reasons for these.

You're their father; you should've gotten full custody of your children. Why were you not given custody?

Since you weren't given any custody at all but only visitation rights, do you at least help out the sister who has been taking care of them financially?

Her mother had accused me of being a ritualist that I wanted to sacrifice her daughter that's why she seized them for almost 5 years.

The court didn't grant me custody because my girls didn't know me, we've met for the very first time when they were almost 5.

I was a stranger to them that's why the court had given me visitation rights to bond with them first then I can have custody when they are 7.

Yes I have been paying her child support for a year plus now but she doesn't allow me to see them, which is not fair at all.

I have 6 years old twins daughters who are staying with their late mum twin sister , the court has granted me visitation rights during school holidays and I am paying her children without fail.

But she is not allowing me to see my girls during holidays even on their birthday , she keeps making excuses giving me mot valid reasons why I can't see my girls.

I have been patient with her because she is taking good care of them, they are happy and healthy but my cup is full and I will not be quiet anymore.

I really want to go back to court to report her about breaching of the court order and to also ask for custody of my girls.

If she dumps them permanently on you in anger you'll struggle.

Children always go looking for their dad with time.
Keep that in mind and keep picking the bills

Although you have not told us what happened that led to them having those babies in their custody but she is sounding manipulative with the virus claim.

My twins girls are staying with their late mum twin sister , it took me almost 5 years to meet with them because my mother in law refused me to have access with them and i took the matter to court they granted me visitation rights during school holidays and i am also paying child support.

So far I have been Up to date with the child support but their aunty doesn't allow me to have access to my children. I am grateful that she is taking a good care of them. They are happy, healthy and clean it is one of the reason why I haven't reported her to court . I've decided to be patient and wait for christmas holidays to see if she will bring them. And she didn't she said her entire family are battling with a nasty virus it is very contagious she cannot send the girls for our safety.

I had enough of her and i want to report her to court for them to deal with her so she can allow me to have access to my girls.

The deed is done, your wife cannot tell her tales and as it stands that isn’t important anymore. We aren’t celebrating she died, but she doing it in her parents hand absorb you of a thousand blames the evil parents would have heaped on you.We can’t even tell if it is as a result of poor medical attention.
Do all that is within you power and resources to get back your kids, you bore them and no one I repeat no one have any right over them unless you are laid 6 feet under the ground. Go violent if it means to . This is a slap and an insult to your family lineage, you should never allow another family ride over your blood, if you do your ancestors will never be happy with you and if you die your mockery in the world beyond just begin, act fast and set the record straight.

The reason why they have to stay with their aunty is because they don't know me they have been with her for almost 5 years and I am like a stranger to them. They have to bond with me first before I can take custody of them , I don't want to take them away just like that from the people they have known all their life. I am not in a rush I want them to get use to me to feel free around me so when I take them it will not cause any problem between us. So far they are very healthy and clean I am grateful to their aunty for taking good care of my babies.

Is it that you did not see where he stated clearly that his mother/brother in-laws too away his wife in his absence due to a prophet accusing him of planning to use her for rituals? His story is very detailed, and from the stand point of the law, his in-laws have no rights to deprive him of his children unless their well-being and safety is not guaranteed with him. Custody starts with immediate parents. At Op, you should have reported this case since. Go to the state command and get your mother Inlaw arrested for the abduction of your late pregnant wife. While she is in custody, they will bring your children.

Thanks for the advice. The issue has been resolved I did the exact same thing I have reported her for child abduction she was arrested and her daughter who had custody of both of my twins came in with the kids. We have come to an agreement with their aunty that I am allowed to see my children every holidays and I will be sending upkeep. The kids will come and stay with me when they are 7 years old. The agreement was signed by both of us and she cannot play with the law or else she will go back to jail.

Well, you don't seem to have a good rapport with your in laws.

Let them raise the babies in peace while you focus on your new family since you've moved on already.

I can't focus on my new family when I don't have any clue about my babies, if they are being treated well or not.

Like seriously Or you are telling us the real story, all of your wife's family can't be so wicked that none of them is your friend . Besides, were you legally married? If yes, you need to get them arrested, get a good lawyer and human rights activist. But before you get started, just make sure your story is true.

My story is 100% true. the important lesson I have learned in my life is to never marry a daughter of a woman who had children with multiple men. We were legally married, traditional and church wedding

Did you pay your wife dowry?
Why will they hold your children? I think reporting them to the police or human rights as you said will be better. Unless you didn't pay her dowry complete if not they will hold your children because that how some custom do.


Imagine how one prophet have cause calamity here? Probably he's enjoying at home now. A prophet is not sent to cause problems but to bring break through and warn people going astray to align/amend in God's way. Also you reason why I always stand on the discerning spirit as Christians.. You can't have this spirit and be mislead by all this gullible so called prophet.

We were legally married, traditional and church wedding

My life turned upside down on 17th April 2017 I lost my wife from child birth complications, she gave birth to twins girls.
Prior to her death her mother and elder brother carry her out of my house in my absent, she was 6 months gone.
Her mother said that her prophet said I want to use her daughter for money rituals and she will never return to me
I have tried everything to talk /meet her all to no avail
I went to nnewi to her mother house on three occasions but I couldn't meet her, her brother chased me
A week later on the 17th April I received a call from my mother in law tenant to informed me that my wife has passed since a week ago which is 12th of April.
I couldn't believe it and I rushed to nnewi to find everybody in tears
I asked my mother in law why did she do this to me, she said I wanted to use my wife for rituals and she took her away from me because she wanted to save her so how come she died
She held me in the neck shouting at my face to bring her daughter back or else she will kill me too
Some elders intervene and pleaded with her to leave me and was asked to leave immediately that they will inform me about the burials and everything
I didn't even get a chance to see my babies
I tried to contact my wife's twin sister about the burial and how to see my babies, she lied to me then block me
To cut the long story short I didn't attend my wife burial because I was given the wrong date which was two weeks after her burial
On that day I went with my parents and other people only to find out that the burial was two weeks ago
My mother in law wasn't anywhere to be find only the tenants who were present
Have been tying to get in touch with my babies to no avail even taugh she has returned to her house and I have been there three times but she refused to meet me
Its coming to 4 years now that I have never met my twins babies who will be 4 years this April
She is living alone without them, i have no ideas of my babies whereabouts and I heard from people in her hoods that one of my twins is in Abuja with my late wife twin sister and the other is in warri with another sister.
I don't know how to contact any of her sisters nor their husbands because I don't have their numbers
I have since remarried and we are blessed with a 3 months baby girl but I will never forget about mh twins babies, I want to take care of them
I am thinking to report her to the human rights so she can bring my babies back to me because I have been patient with her for 4 years to no avail, I will not take it easy with her anymore. I want my babies back. Your advice will be appreciate please
