JOB DESCRIPTION:

Farm Assistant Manager
Supervise the effective operation of all project component
Design and enforce effective Bio-Security Plan
Assistant in Vaccination of day old chicks and live birds
Maintain an effective farm record
Culling of weak/old and unwanted birds and debeaking of poultry birds.
To supervise the work of rearing of chicks and selection of birds for pedigree purpose.
To supervise the hatching process in the hatchery.
To supervise the feed mixing process at feed mill.
Supervise Sale of live birds, Eggs & other farm products.
Any other duty assigned by the Farm Manager and Director.


Farm Attendant
Performs any combination of following duties on poultry farm: Catches chickens and places them in crates and poultry houses.
Sprays disinfectants or vaccines on chickens or in poultry houses.
Cleans droppings and waste from floor, using broom and shovel, backhoe, or manure-cleaning machine.
Dumps sacks of feed on conveyors and in feeders in brood houses.
Fills water containers.
Repairs farm buildings, fences, and shipping crates, using hand tools. Moves equipment, using wheelbarrow, truck, and cart; or carries equipment from one area to another.
Shovels manure onto truck.
Prepare eggs for delivery
Day to day record keeping
May stack and move crated eggs and poultry.


Gate Man.
To ensure that the building/premise assigned to him is safe and secured from any sort of contingencies and acts of violence.
To keenly observe each and every person entering the premise and to keep an eye on intruders.
To prevent the entry of unauthorized people and prohibited articles into restricted areas.
To maintain a log book with details of the names, purpose of visit, and entry and exit times of each and every individual who enters the building.
To conduct routine checks inside the building each day.
To make detailed notes of damages to the premise or assets or of unusual occurrences.
