* The previous season, RVP scored 30 goals for Arsenal and Arsenal conceded the highest goals. How come his 30 goals didn't win Arsenal the title, yet you guys claim his 26 goals won us the title. Rubbish!

* Man United may have conceded the highest goals but goals conceded among the top 4 were very close to one another. You have forgotten that our defenders contributed 14 goals in that season (Evra 4, Evans 3, Rafel 3, Buttner 2, Vidic 1, Ferdianand 1) . The previous season, they contributed only three gaols.(Evans, Jones and Smalling 1 each). This means our defnders contributed 11 more goals in 2012/2013 than previous season, and you claim they were poor? OMG!!!

* In 2011/2012 we had only 16 different players on the score sheet. In 2012/13, we had 20 players. If we had 20 players on the score sheet in 2011/2012 the league would have been won.

* What the above goals record shows is that our defenders (particularly full backs, were overlapping to support attack while exposing our rare. No wonder Evra and Rafael contributed 5 and 3 assists respectively. This usually result to a matter of who outscores who eventually. So the defenders did their job well.

* In case you don't know, Man United performed better in 2011/2012 than 2012/2013. RVP did not help us to perform better. We scored more goals in previous season and conceded less. We ended with same number of points in both seasons. We were only lucky City had some misfortunes (Tevez, Balotelli, Zabeleta) and bad results in the second half of 2012/2013 season just as we had our misfortunes in the first half of 2011/2012 season. So what exactly did RVP bring to the table? He scored 26 goals, and it wasn't the club's record. What his inclusion did for us, was nothing other than limiting the chances of Hernadez, Nani, Welbeck and Valencia who had very high return of goals and assists the previous season. Everyone had to adjust their game to suit him. The result is what we have today- everyone became poor overnight. Before RVP arrival, Nani, Valencia, Young were all joy to watch because everyone played to score, and not playing to find a one man in the box to help score all the goals. [/s]

* Without RVP we had a solid squad going into that season. De Gea had improved so much from the previous season. Scholes returned. Ferdinand and Evans were injury free.

RVP was a quality addition. That was what it was. Chicharito could have gotten us about 20 goals from as many matches. Welbeck's goals should have gone up too because he should have gotten more central role. When RVP went dry we won all matches exepting one draw. Rooney's goals return that period became high, and from the number 10 and wing. Kagawa got his hatrick that period.

No one player won us the league. An addition of a quality player to an already strong team managed by a world class coach will always have a huge impact. As we have in Bale for Madid, and possible as we are going to have Costa for Chelsea.
