toju: i will call you as soon as Dafe sends your number.
@ toju. i got ur message. i will send tontons number later when i recharge my phone. @ toju, i also meet ur name sake, he said he his from ur local govt and that your guys have been communicating via facebook, he sends his regard.

i must must confess,i have never seen a govt establishment that is so organize, staffs very polite and professionals... this guys have a mindsets of a private establishment:they think and talk as private professionals...just the kind of people i need to work with. like i have always said, there is hope for our dear country(Nigeria)...A big thumbs up to NIMCee: DG Barrister Chris and his management staffs...they rep. change and i am happy to be identify with them.

@ all, ensure you register for your National Identification Number(NIN) soon...NIN is your identity.

i am also happy to meet alots of nairalanders today.

ONE LOVE TO ALL.

...NIN IS YOUR IDENTITY.

e-fighting going on.

home movie... watch out for part two when level 8 APL comes in and part three, when we get to levels 12 0r 13 with the promotion package and fat salary and concluding part in old age when the joyful fat pension starts to roll in... hope this tread will still be running by then?

until then , no more e-fighting.

Job security is important to me and not money,u know y cos am not HUNGRY and GREEDY. So u sef park we'll!!!!
@ all i just arrived Abuja for 2morro accreditation...i bless God for journey mercy.

@ shiloh my sister no mind that guy wa dey provoke u and others like me...but me never see you vex like this my sister.

@ all, it is not all about the salary. we should rather go down on our knees and thank God we are about to start a career in the civil service...a lot of bankers wish they have this opportunity. trust me after 7 to 8 years of your service to Nimcee, you will really appreciate God more for landing this job with the govt. We should not think of the now alone, but the future. most big directors in civil service today started their career in level 8 but today they are achievers in the civil service with fat salary and allowances and most especially with the hope that they will retire and still be earning pensions monthly in their old age.

sequel to the above, let us concentrate on making the NIMCee mandate a reality... for me i am fully ready and motivated to make this a reality in my state of primary assignment. watch out for my name in NIMCee,i am very sure it will ring positive bell in all Nimcee state offices and Head Quarters. So, weather 15k,35k, 80k or 150k monthly ,i am not bother, as far it is a Govt job and am ok. 2morro i will have big salary in Nimcee. sah na 53k the DG or NIMCEE STATE coordinator they earn today. last time i went for interview i saw his powerful official car with heavy security guys around him... so @ all first things first!

my sister Shiloh i share your view.

make i go baff and sleep.

gfullmoon: From all indication(s) so far-Seighbenz & co can't just go into hiding without a cogent&plausible reason(s). And I've come to the conclusion that some NIMC staff, even the DG might've infiltrated this forum, warning Trainees that any FIM from them, they'll be shown a way out.

I am not trying to instil fear into any person as this is my personal opinion. May be or may not too much reading of Detective novels is having its paranoid toil on me.

I'll see things for myself soonest. DAFE I am looking forward to seeing u face-to-face on Sunday by the special grace of God.
ONE LOVE!
I look forward to seeing u too. let give @ alaus and co. The benefit of doubt. If per adventure we get to training and go mute as well then, true talk.

How can I have your contact so we can see one on one on sunday during accreditation. I will be leaving on saturday.

For those leaving on saturday but don't ve a place to stay till sunday...I can help one or two persons. I will be spending saturday nite with my friend and we can accommodate one or two persons after which we all leave on sunday to NIMCee HQ for accreditation. Pls. It is free of charge. But u go feed urself dat nite because my friend na young graduate wa dey try to pick up life for abuja.

All in d spirit of one love.

posteritychild: frm a source some ppl who applied 4 a particular position wil be moved to anoda position if d candidate's qualification tallies wit d job role. Dat why u c dat some ppl dat went for d interview has nt been called for training, they are been prepared for anoda role other dan d one they applied for.Secondly, NiMC did not just invite some persons based on their job role, but bcs there scores whr so high to be ignored! A source told me dat people who had a certain score generally was called, and also dat d interview is not over! E.g if there some persons who applied for customer care position n thr score were so high compared to some ppl dt applied for enroll officer position and maybe they needed more hands to fill d available position, they have to move ppl with higher score to anoda position!!!
so which department will one be posted to if he or she have a qualification in Petroleum engineering and applied as enrolement and reg. officer ( state or Lg), have gone for interview but yet to be invited for training?

sah NIMC get petroleum department?

Walert: Thank God I was thrown out by the relatively unknown Enterprise Bank last year.It was really a blessing in disguise as I have started my own production factory which is today profitable while also undergoing an MSc program.Bankers should beware because the days ahead are evil.Dont lavish all your salaries on frivolities but engage in a meaningful project whether academic or business. He that has an ear..........
u have said it all. the truth is bitter, however, it must be told...there is no job security in Nigeria banking industry.for those aspiring to work in the bank, best of luck...however, don't forget it is one leg in and one leg out. those guys are mean, the use and dump. i thank God for delivering me from landing a job in the bank...i was at the medical recruitment stage of Zenith bank and FCMB, before God brought a Government job to my rescue.

rumor or not, the truth is bitter... there are no job security in the Nigeria banking industry.

Mowin: @Dave; Church was fine, just that we were somuch under the weather because of the rains. Its all gd. In response 2 ur position on what I raised, I have nt attributed that comment 2 just Nimcee, but 2 all government firms in Nigeria. Personally, l think Nimcee has stood out so far interms of rectitude in staff recuitment. Kudos must go 2 the management. However, little little anomalies r very noticeable. This recriutment exercise began since Decemb last yr. By my analysis, we may nt start receiving APL till Aug ending or sept. To me, this has lingered 4 too long considering the fact that so much time was wastd inbetween the recriutment phases. As 4 the on going training, only time will tell if money was not wasted afterall since we don't yet know the fundamental strategies that Nimcee might deploy in the exercise. But going by what we know right nw, it will not be wrong to think that 2 wks is too much 4 training of Reg nd enrolment officers.
Brother, if my papa catch you! D name is Dafe meaning wealth not Dave. Thank you!

Thank God for d rains. It was the rains of God's blessing on you. Don't forget you re NIMCee and to a large extent the success of the project depend on you. It is high time we stoped seeing NIMC as the DG and his management staffs in Abuja. We are NIMCee and we represent change. Don't forget that is all about team work(TEAM- Together Each Achieve More)

@ all see u at the top.

Mowin: I wonder what Nimcee is gonna be doing with these enrolment guys that has warranted a whole 2 weeks tedious training.. Na wa 4 gov parastatals oo! Waisting tax payers money & waisting time on stuffs that could be archeivd within a very short time. Whats there in training officials on hw 2 enrol & register people. Wouldn't 3 days not have been enough 4 such trainings? Just thinking aloud shaa..
How can you say two weeks is too much and waste of taxpayers money?

the training is more of a behavioral assessment training so, it is inclusive of other course modules apart from the course module on how to register enrolees.

Bros two weeks is not too much and never a waste of taxpayer money. Moreover, the two weeks training will later have a multiplier effect on the Nigeria economy. So, we should not think and talk of wasting tax payers money.

How was church service today?

manifest1: Those in training, please do you know if there will be training allowance?

Alas do you have an idea what the salary is?

Are we getting APL at the end of the training?

@ all,how reliable is this NIMC job especially for Enrol and Reg officers say 2years after when most Nigerians would have been registered?Won't the issue of redundancy set in?

Dafe hope to see you in training and its Sunday momo things for me.

Lastly someone dropped a post last week that he/she is still at Okene as at 1pm,please is there any penalty for those that came after 12pm on Sunday for the accreditation?

Over to you all.Thanks
hope to see you too. the exercise is a continuous stuff even after two years. moreover, do you intend to remain an enrolement and registration officer in the next two years. you don forget about promotion things. just ensure you upgrade your qualification before the next promotion. You never can tell, you might just be the next NIMC state coordinator in your state... it is up to you brother. na Saturday things on my mind. one love brother. drop your mail make we yan.

wordpad: @DAFE sir, which kind of embarrassment ? Lol
Don't mind my First Class sociologist boss, Barrister Chris. He asked me during interview to mention four management staff of NIMC. I answered his question correctly. However, in answering the question I pronounce his other name wrongly, he then corrected me, and asked me to pronounce it again. I did but with little improvement, he then got angry, hissed at me and angrily deducted some marks from my scores. My brother,@ that moment my moral that was initial high, immediately drop low. Considering the Stiff competition, it was obvious I needed God to scale through.

My brother, I bless God that I am Step close to becoming his colleague now.

So my brother, na d matter be that. But we bless God say it is na well even from the well wa we don comoth.
