temitope1458: hello 2 u al,am new on dis forum n i used 2 read dis tread everiday cos i love it.i finished my ND lst year 2012 4rm polyibadan,geology dept n i want 2 apply 4 mai DE dis yr into OAU 2 study geology as well n am grade is 3.11 which is reffered 2 as lower credit in my skul.jst 2 ask 4rm u guyz am i gud 2 go 4 d form n i believe dat i wil b admitted if i apply cos is nt by merit bt by mercy.waiting 4 d reply..............

is dat ur final grade ? If yes, wen was it pasted

I heard some dpartments have even pastd there own results whch means evryting is ready... Please doyour clearance as early as possible so as to ge ur result ready for processing ya transcripts.... don't get me wrong i did nt say fed unis dont acpt ND i mean dey rarely admit OND into der faculty of social sci even if u visit unilorin web it was stated under political sci dat dey only consider A level 4 de likewise most schls in d west

i don't think unilag accept ND for direct entry except maybe in education courses and i'm very sure that most fed unis don't accept ND into their soc\sci like econs, pol sci etc but they accept Alevel and IJMB in those dept. i've once visited the admission office of both unilag and UI n ve have confirmed this set of information

It's like a transcript can only be relevant for just an academic session but i don't think unilorin demand 4 transcript not until u've been admitted

unis nowadays dnt like student picking dem as 2nd choice bt u can be lucky wit a state schl depending on ur long leggedness, strong gp and mayb d level of competition of ur chosen course.

u wil go thru normal procedure, u wil apply tru d.e form and register wit jamb nd afta bin cleared by jamb u den go nd summit ur credentials including TS to oau. Den wait for d admission list to come out

oau admit hnd into 200L if d person has lower credit at both ND n HND but if he has upper at either of d two he'll be admitted into 300L

Walexz02: The 1year IT is compulsory,so it is up to you to either do it or nt...bt u cant process any admission during dt IT period bcoz it is only after dt 1year(for ur IT) that ur result will be out,which ofcours u will need for processing any admission.

the 1year IT is only required for your HND admission not needed for DE admission and also it can be processed during d period of IT depend on how ur sch is fast in releasing their transcript

The 2013 is here now. So this our year of upliftment

i'm still contemplating btw unilorin's history n international studies and uniben's pol sci or pub admin

Akby: No post DE in UI just apply and if u have good grades u would be admitted. Also we don't have pol science or public admin. First choice only dear cos it's a federal uni

UI has political sci but i'm not sure if they admit ND in that dept because i also hav ND in pub admin frm ibadan poly and i went to the admission office in which i was told that they don't accept ND in dat faculty of social sci except A level. But it can be tried if u have a stronger connection
