Nigerians on Saturday woke up to viral information being spread about the 5G technology and its connection to the novel coronavirus(COVID-19).

In fact, it generated controversies amongst social media users until the point when '5G' was listed amongst the top trending keywords on Twitter. Although similar speculations had sprung up a few days ago, a prominent fact-checking platform, AFP, found the claims to be unfounded.

The National Examination council is an exams body responsible in administering the Senior School Certificates Examinations as well as the General Certificate in Education. These exams usually take place between the period of June/July and December/January usually after WAEC examinations.
Historical Perspective
NECO came on board during the administration of Adulsalami Abubakar the then head of state of Nigeria in 1999. NECO was created with true sole motive to offer subsidized registration of exams to candidates in Nigeria. This body came on board and took over the responsibilities of the then National Board of Education Measurement (NBEM). The first Exams conducted by NECO took place in 2000.
This is the step by step guide on how to register for NECO GCE 2020. It contains the registration guidelines and instructions for candidates who intends to register for the exam.

At the time of writing this post, The National Examination Council (NECO) has not commencement of the sales of application form for the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination for External Candidates. Even though the form is not on sale yet, we find it necessary to educate the populace with the NECO GCE registration instructions and guidelines so that once the form is out, they will be able to do it. Candidates admitted into NDA for Regular Course will undergo military and academic training as Officer Cadets for a duration of 5 years for Nigerian Army cadets 4 years for Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air force cadets. On successful completion of training, graduands will earn a honours degree in a core discipline (BSc, BEng, BA). They will equally earn a Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 72nd regular course admission online application form will be available for sale as from 5 December 2019 to 20 March, 2020 and it is open to both male and female Nigerians.
The NDA screening test will be conducted as phase one of the Post-UTME screening and is scheduled to hold on Saturday 16 May, 2020 at designated centres across the country. Only candidates with JAMB 2020 Registration Number will be eligible to write the exams.
Only candidates who score a minimum of 180 (for Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Military Science & Interdisciplinary Studies) and 210 (for Faculty of Engineering) in JAMB 2020 examination shall be offered admission into NDA by the AFSB.

Candidates eligible for 72 Regular Course admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) must have the following:

1. Must be medically and physically fit and must be of good moral character.

Step 1: Visit the Institution Website at https://cazuru.edu.ng and click on “Online Application Portal” link under Students Section or go directly to https://portal.cazuru.edu.ng.



Step 2: Click on Start New Application and read the application instruction carefully.
Step 3: Create account by filling your basic information and click on Register, copy of your application information would be sent to your Email address.


Step 4: Use your Username & Password to login, then click on “Generate Invoice” and proceed with your application.


Step 5: Print your invoice and take it to any bank nationwide for payment or pay via Remita instant payment channels option by clicking the “Pay Now” button on the invoice.


Step 6: After Payment login again to the portal, confirm your payment, upload your passport, update your bio-data, fill in your previous academic records, and upload signature.
