The author of Hebrews gives us a great definition of faith by writing that “faith is the assurance of things hoped for” (Hebrews 11:1). Since God has promised eternal life in Christ for all who have repented and trusted in Him, we can have an assurance in Jesus’ second coming because He has said He will come again; and He, as God, cannot lie. Our assurance is not in ourselves or in what we think or feel. It goes beyond that. Our assurance is in Christ. And if our assurance is in Him, we shall never be disappointed.

Hope[i]

The hope we have in Christ isn’t like the way the world uses the word “hope.” They hope their team wins. They hope it will rain. They hope in this and that. But our hoping cannot make something happen or make something be true. Our hope is in Christ, and that is as sure of a hope as there is anywhere. Ours is not a hope-so faith but a know-so faith, having the assurance in God fulfilling His great and precious promises.

Faith is also placed in things we can’t even see. None of us have actually seen Jesus Christ, but we have a concrete faith that He exists. We know it by the sealing of the Spirit’s knowledge about Christ. Our faith is “the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). I don’t have to see Jesus to know He exists. The universe must have necessarily been caused, for it couldn’t have created itself. We know that the heavens declare God’s glory (Psalm 19:1) and that the heavens didn’t pop up out of nowhere or by blind chance–it was by intelligent design. The word “conviction” is the same Greek word used for convicting a criminal. Our faith is not circumstantial evidence but solid proof.

Finally, the author of Hebrews writes that it is “by faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible” (Hebrews 11:2). Speaking of Christ, the Apostle John wrote that “all things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3). Since God’s Word is always true and John states that God made all things “through him” and that “without him was not any thing made that was made,” that means Jesus is the Creator, although all of the Trinity were involved. The point is that God said it in His Word, and I believe it.

We know that faith is not something that goes against the evidence; it goes beyond it. It gives us assurance and a hope for a future. It is a conviction that God exists and that everything that exists is because of Him. He is the Creator. We are His creatures. That is concrete evidence to which no one can argue.

Other active ingredients, such as chlorhexidine gluconate and domiphen bromide, are manufactured and could serve more than one purpose. Inactive ingredients vary greatly dependent upon the manufacturer and may be added for multiple reasons ranging from providing palatable flavor to preserving the solution.

What is bigorexia?
The disorder is formally known as muscle dysmorphia, an anxiety disorder which causes someone to see themselves as small, despite actually being big and muscular.
It is sometimes described as the opposite of anorexia.
"Muscle dysmorphia is a preoccupation with the idea that one isn't big enough, isn't muscular enough," Rob Wilson, chair of the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation said in a BBC Newsbeat investigation.

NIMC have finally Mass Produced the Nigeria National Electronic Identity Cards. Many people have gotten the text and many have not. I was at the Ojo Collection Center yesterday, Many people came to the center for collection of their cards but the whole process was a mess.

People where asked to queue up open the building and collect the cards through the window. It was actually rainy and people where forced to stat under the rain while the workers are inside the building. I was touched by this scene, so i was forced to take some snap shot and also a short video.

Many people left their place of work on Monday Morning (21/9/2015) for the collection of their National Eid cards. They where all drained by the early morning rain.

I want the NIMC people to restructure the process of collection and make it more convinent for people to collect their cards. We are not meant to pass through difficult process before we collect this card.

Two gunmen opened fire at a beachfront hotel packed with holiday makers yesterday killing 38 - with 36 seriously injured. Majority of the people killed are British followed by Germans, then Belgians. ISIS has since taken credit for the brutal massacre.One of the killers, who has been identified as Abu Yahya Qayrawani, 23 (pictured above) was reportedly seen laughing and joking with holidaymakers, looking like any other tourist but used the time to carefully select the victims he would murder with a Kalashnikov hidden in his parasol. The were said to be his primary target.

'He was laughing and joking around, like a normal guy,' said one witness. 'He was choosing who to shoot. Some people, he was saying to them 'you go away'. He was choosing tourists, British, French.'

Tom Richards, a university graduate who was on holiday with his mother and younger brother, found himself face-to-face with a man with 'long black hair and a beard', between 20 to 25.

He and his mother Sam had fled from the pool when they heard the shots ring out, but were confronted with the Kalashnikov-wielding terrorist inside the hotel, where they were sheltering with other guests.

The gunman shot two people in the head, before turning his attention to Mr Richards. The 22-year-old told The Guardian: 'He looked right at me, I thought I was dead.'

But instead of shooting Mr Richards, he shot the floor - allowing Mr Richards and his mother, who were injured by shards of marble, to escape to a nearby toilet.

One day in the summer of 2010, a man was digging in his garden in northern France when he discovered a trash bag containing the remains of an infant. When he summoned the police, they found the body of another newborn. A few days later, they found more bags in the garage - with six additional small corpses.

Police contacted the house's previous owners, and quickly discovered the horrifying explanation: Frenchwoman Dominique Cottrez confessed to secretly bearing and then killing eight of her newborns, saying she feared they were children of a long, incestuous relationship with her father.
However, forensic exams on the remains of the eight infants, and tests on her two living grown daughters showed that all were fathered by Cottrez's husband, according to court documents.
Cottrez, 51, went on trial Thursday in the city of Douai, accused of multiple counts of first-degree murder of minors.

Cottrez wept as she took her seat. She faces life in prison if found guilty.
Her lawyers were expected to argue that she was a victim of rape and incest, and ask for a lesser sentence.
