.it is negligence on your part to submit an invitational letter without signature .However get a supporting letter from the organizers stating that the first letter issued without signature was mistake from them and the Embassy/Consular should consider your re application with signed letter .You can submit immediately since the reason for denial was based on unsigned letter not fake or questionable documents.

Thank you..I seriously didn't notice the error because it was a computer generated letter. The error was generalised to all the participants but it seems like it was ignored for those who went to the Abuja office and emphasised for those who went to the lagos office.

Hello nairalanders,
I applied for an 8 day visa to attend a conference in capetown at the lagos office, and after a 3 week processibg timea I was refused a visa because 'the conference invitation letter was not signed'..i have gotten across to the conference organisers who have resent a signed letter.
Can I resend my documents immediately(next day) for reapplication?..can I also go to the vfs centre in Abuja which I hear is apparently faster with their visa processing and will it affect my visa processing.
Any timely response will be appreciated.
Thank you
Health / Re: Fg Paid Doctors New Salary! by dakillmaster: 10:09am On Aug 24, 2014
As usual we Nigerians act like we a bunch of illiterate uneducated fools.someone posts a totally fictitous unsubstantiated story about another professionals salaet(not even his/hers) and its accepted hook, line and sinker..nobody asks for verification of facts or even offers a tangible analysis..eg what's the level of a cobsultant in the civil service, what do their counterparts on that level earn, whats the evidence of this new salary nentioned, does this persons job actually deserve that pay if true etc...we exist on hatred which has permeated every fabric of our society as seen with religous bigotry n tribalism...when the poster brings evidence of this his obviously overexaggerated facts,we can talk about its merits and demerits and offer further analysis...not reacting to unsubstantiated facts posted in an obviously biased state of mind geared at generating rancor n mistrust.....out

It's always easy for members of the public and press to use emotional blackmail on drs as the need arises...but in the calm before the storm they never seem to intervene to prevent a strike action or write articles on any health matter till the storm hits, afterwards they say drs should 'follow the path of dialogue'..some years back in the UK the bus drivers went on strike on behalf of the drs, that can never occur in this country...everyone is selfish, and of course drs are expected to be saints even to the point of being beaten to a pulp...citizens are yet to understand that good health can never be cheap and are unconcerned because poor regulation makes it possible for everyone to wear a clinical coat and be referred to as a Dr and hence give medical care...drs are in a serious fight for their profession and I don't blame them..the public is so used to the deterioration of all aspects of service in the country, that to them health may join as well..afterall no be naija we dey...I don't blame them...afterall when the grim reaper comes, your first reaction is why..

In this issue I pity the common Nigerian folk who don't seem to know the difference between a trained medical doctor and a lab technician/Radiographer/physiotherapist/nurse/hospital clerk or porter or admin staff/pharmacist....afterall we are in a society where everyone is referred to as Dr or nurse irrespective of their qualification..that is the only reason why these issues arise.there is no clear job description or professionalism in performance of duties..the federal government is too weak and corrupt to handle this issue firmly.in a private setting this will not even be an issue for discussion because in a private setting it is clearly stated what your job/role in healthcare delivery is..smh
