If you're interested in helping your pet lead a healthier life, going the natural route is a big step in the right direction. We spoke with Jean Hofve, DVM, staff veterinarian for Only Natural Pet, for some expert tips on how to get started down the all natural path.



1. NATURAL PET FOOD


Food is the biggest investment you make in your pet’s health – so make it count! Unfortunately, some pet food companies have caught on to consumers’ desires for wholesome, natural food for their pets, so they have created friendly-looking packaging, brand advertising, and new claims on their products—but in some cases, without improving the ingredients inside, says Dr. Hofve.


Here are a few of the vet's general guidelines to help you choose the best natural pet food:


Unless a corn ingredient is labeled organic, it’s going to be genetically modified. At least two named meats or meat meals should be among the top ingredients in a dry food, and a named meat should be the first ingredient in any other form (canned, raw, dehydrated, frozen).
Avoid synthetic chemical preservatives like ethyoxyquin, BHT, BHA, propyl gallate and propylene glycol. Choose a food that is complete and balanced for all life stages rather than tweaked for a certain lifestage. Foods with more of an emphasis on natural, are ususally all life stage.
For cats in particular, a high-protein, high-moisture diet is crucial to maintain a lifetime of optimal kidney and bladder health, as well as to prevent obesity and the diseases that go with it, like diabetes, heart disease and arthritis. Try canned, homemade or raw for cats. (But always make a slow and gradual transition to minimize tummy problems.)
Often, it’s the specialty manufacturers who are doing the best job of finding good quality ingredients and making a healthy natural food for a reasonable price. Choose brands that have put their efforts into making the best food possible.
Dry and canned pet food are heavily processed. Consider raw, frozen or dehydrated diets to get the most natural nutrition.


2. PET GROOMING


There is little or no regulation of pet grooming products, says Dr. Hofve, so companies can use perfumes, detergents and other potentially harmful chemicals. This is especially true of shampoos intended to kill fleas or solve skin problems like flaking or itching. The skin can absorb many of these chemicals, so they get into the blood and put a strain on the liver, which has to break them down, store them or eliminate them. Natural pet grooming products that use mild ingredients — including safe herbs — are gentler on the skin and less likely to be absorbed and accumulated in the body.

3. SUPPLEMENTS AND VITAMINS


Dr. Hofve warns that there is a big difference between natural and synthetic vitamins. Natural vitamins derived from whole foods are much better absorbed and utilized by the body. Vitamins made in a laboratory are less efficient and may even be harmful. Many human studies have found unexpected adverse effects from large doses of synthetic vitamins.

4. FLEA AND TICK CONTROL


According to the Environmental Protection Agency, every single registered chemical flea and tick product has been documented to have caused adverse reactions for some pets, says Dr. Hofve. Fortunately, there are natural flea and tick control methods available for our pets, though it does takes vigilance and dedication to make them work. A three-pronged approach will only be successful if applied correctly to the pet, the house/car, and the yard.

A truly healthy pet will be much less susceptible to parasites, so getting the diet in order is paramount. Certain supplements, such as B vitamins, garlic and yeast are reportedly aversive to flea and tick taste buds. Flea tags are also helpful. Use a flea comb frequently to make sure you’re staying ahead of the game. Frequent bathing with a natural flea-repellent shampoo may be needed in heavy infestations.

Diatomaceous earth, borax and beneficial nematodes (worms) can be used in the yard, and frequent vacuuming in the house and car will scoop up flea eggs before they can hatch. Keeping a tidy yard and misting your pet with a safe herbal repellent before outdoor excursions will also keep bugs away.

5. PET TREATS AND CHEWS


There are many great treats out there, says Dr. Hofve, but even more bad ones. Jerky treats (chicken, duck, sweet potato and dried fruit treats) made in China are implicated in illness and death in many hundreds of dogs and cats. While some of the worst offenders were recalled, they are already coming back onto shelves — yet are still made in China.

Freeze-dried or dehydrated meats and organs (such as liver or lung) are your best bet. Make sure they contain no additives or chemicals and have not undergone harsh processing. Simple is how nature made them, and that’s how they should stay!

Thankfully, developer Mahadi Xion has an app that should help quite a bit. It's a ported version of the popular content blocker AdAway, but customized to specifically block porn sites and popups instead of ads. Fair warning, though: You will need to root the phone to pull this one off, but if you can stick with it and overcome that first hurdle, the rest of the set-up process is fairly easy.



How to use PornAway to Filter Site on Android Phone

1. Install PornAway: Once you've got the device rooted (or if it was already rooted to begin with), the first thing you'll need to do is install the porn-blocking app, which is fittingly called PornAway.

Download the PornAway content blocker app (.apk)


2. Patch Your Hosts File & Reboot: open PornAway, then within a few seconds, you'll be prompted to give the app root access, so tap "Grant" on the popup. From there, press the "Apply Porn Blocking" button near the top of the app's main menu, then tap "Yes" when asked to reboot the phone.

It's worth noting at this point that PornAway functions exactly the same as AdAway, and that's by modifying the device's hosts file to add a blacklists of sites that simply won't be allowed to load. This makes it very effective at blocking content, but it does have one downside: It won't work in conjunction with AdAway, since the two apps modify the same file.


Unroot (Optional)

Once the device finishes rebooting, you can completely uninstall PornAway if you'd like, as the app has already done its job. While you're cleaning things up, you may also want to unroot the device, which would be helpful if you have a teenager who you think might be compelled to undo your porn-blocking modification. Without root, there will be no way to revert the modified hosts file, so porn content would be permanently blocked on this device.

So if you'd like to unroot, open the SuperSU app from the app drawer, which was installed automatically when you rooted the device. From there, head to the Settings tab, then scroll down a bit and tap the "Full unroot" option. Finally, press "Continue" on the popup, then wait as long as a few minutes while the process takes place. When it's done, the phone will reboot and it will be completely unrooted.


Enjoy a Kid-Safe Smartphone, from now on, porn sites will simply refuse to load on this device. The porn-blocking blacklist is quite extensive, so every major site in this category is blocked. Of course, it's possible that a new porn site might be created and make its way through in a rare situation, but the internet should now be a much safer place for your children.

Get those two items ready and follow the below step carefully.

4. Enable USB debugging on the phone, to do that go to (Phone Settings > Scroll down and click Developer > Tick USB Debugging)
5. Connect the phone to the PC then install PdaNet, you should get a "Drivers successfully installed" message at the end of installation
6. Extract the Eroot.exe and Launch it
7. A root button will appear. If it doesn't, close the PdaNet running from your system tray.
Click on the root button and your phone will be rooted in 10 seconds.

I will show you two methods on how to stop insufficient storage, the first guide requires no-rooting while the second guide requires rooting.

How To Stop Insufficient Storage Space without Rooting

Open the Settings app, tap Apps, in some device it’s Applications, or Applications Manager option.

Scroll sideways to the ALL section. You'll see a list of all apps and how much storage space they're taking.

Tap the Menu or More button and choose Sort By Size to arrange the apps by which take the most space.

Tap an app to see how much storage space it is taking, both for the app and its data (the Storage section) and for its cache (the Cache section).

Tap Clear Cache to remove its cache and free up that space. You could also tap Clear data, but that removes your files, which is most likely a bad idea.

Repeat this step above for each app to free more space.


In some devices, there's a faster way to clear all the apps' cache automatically:

Open the Settings app, tap Storage (it should be in the System tab or section). You'll see how much storage is used, with details for cached data broken out.

Tap Cached Data. In the confirmation form that appears, tap Delete to free up that cache for working space, or tap Cancel to leave the cache alone.

Follow this guide to free internal storage space

Today I will show you how to set-up your WhatsApp account on computer (PC), WhatsApp offers two different solutions for using its service on a computer: WhatsApp Web or desktop apps for Windows and OS X.


Requirement

According to WhatsApp support page, you can use either WhatsApp product (web or desktop app) if your phone is one of the following:

iPhone 8.1+

When you're using WhatsApp on a computer, your phone will still need to have a data or Wi-Fi connection. That's because the platform essentially mirrors the app on your smartphone. How to set up WhatsApp Web

Windows users will need to run the .exe file and follow the prompts.

When the app launches, you'll see a QR code for you to scan with the WhatsApp phone app. Just below the code, you'll see directions to help you find that scanning option on the app. For example, in the iOS app, tap Settings, then WhatsApp Web.

After you scan the code, you'll be able to see your WhatsApp messages on your phone and in the browser. You won't need a Wi-Fi connection for your phone

so the major reasons IPhone is surviving in the market is because only one model is produced over a given period of time, Its OS is exclusive to the brand alone and its pricing is well tailored.

now reserve these things to be different models at a given time, OS availability isn't exclusive, prices vary.. then no prestige attached and the brand loses its value.

This completely explains the "Whatsapp over BBM" theory as well. Although, people rushed to check out the app when it was finally released on andriod and ios, the comments that followed weren't so cool. most people were like "so is this the bbm we were always always hearing of? " "nothing special". n now 1 out of 7 people use whatsapp. why not bbm that opened it to other users?.
