Impulse80: you did not use this phone na. Look at the standby and phone idle! Do not post rubbish to justify this lousy device again! We all know you are a marketer. Anyone doubting should check your topics. Posting battery stats of a phone without sim card inserted! WTF!

I GUESS YOU ARE ALSO BLIND TO THE WIFI ASPECT!!! I make use of wifi and not 3G cos i am yet to cut my sims. and yes it was idle for a while but i also used it to surf the net most of the time it was active, took pictures and played a couple of games. besides, instagram and twitter and facebook were all active in the background. what did you expect? that i will stay awake for over 24 hours pressing the phone like a jobless person?? Nope. that was to show that on light usage the phone has capabilities of going a whole day. the picture only shows the part with greater power consumption. If the device is so lousy, why are you burning your data commenting on this thread? move on and go create a thread to promote your own favorite phone.

hay2zed50: Same here too,at first it drops rapidly to like 85% then stabilize, yesterday, when I charged it and the rapid dropping happened,I browsed and played games for hours, until I had 48%, I then left it and slept in the night, and my 48% remained for the nxt day till around 5PM without droppin at all. Luck or handling matters

Thank you for this. it was beginning to look like i was telling ghost stories and unduely promoting the phone.the phone is an amazing device. browsing with is flawless and thats what i do with it mostly alongside tweeting for the main time. i would begin serious gaming as soon as i am less busy.

I am just downloading the update now. From what I read before it started, it doesn't look like a major update. The only thing that may be useful to me is the WAKE GESTURE. I doubt if the update will improve battery life or address other issues. Although I hope it improves it. Who wouldn't love a longer battery life?

Like I said in my earlier post, here is the screen shot from yesterday's experience. Maybe I will be accused of "photoshoping" it since I am now a "marketer" hehe.

Am sori to say u are stupid for this post. u be marketer.

apologizing before an insult. smh. says a lot about you. its a free world though. Cos i share links to where the people can order the phone doesnt mean i shouldnt be able to share my views. i have also experienced the sim 1 problem which i also shared on nairaland, nobody called me a marketer then.
May God forgive you.

i guess i am just one lucky guy. i know a lot of you wont believe but i have no complaints about the battery on my device. i was gonna get a power bank before but i doubt if i need it anymore. what i noticed is that after i charge it, sometimes the battery drops about 10-15% rapidly.. after which the battery stabilizes and it can remain on a percentage for almost 10 minutes. it got to a point that i thought the battery meter had stopped working. but, nope. It was working well.

just yesterday, i stopped charging the phone around 8am, went to write an exam.. finished the exam around 3pm and started using the phone till i slept off. i woke up this morning with about 25% left on it. i was amazed. and i didnt charge it once. so... maybe i am just lucky. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERT. Just sharing my experience. i'll share a screenshot of the battery use graph soon. i am just trying to say, if you know how to handle the device, the battery can go over 24hours. cheers.

daevheed: guys please my friend's infinix is not downloading from operamini ooo

why use opera mini with this awesome phone? Browsing is extremely fast and easier with chrome, the in built browser or even CM browser. tell him to try those. i havent touched opera anything since i got the phone.

hotmolo: tanx boss. Av placed my order. I also ordered a power bank. Is the screen guard really necessary? Since its gorilla glass. I dint order that.

That's cool. Ordering a power bank alongside it is smart. I doubt there is any need for a screen protector as well.

Navyguy: a frnd dat have dis phn. charge it almost every second and 2ndly i was told nt to buy it bc there is no customa care or service center in 9ja can u tro more lite on these ?

he is the one that knows how he uses the phone. but you should let him know that that will only kill the battery. Avoid charging at short intervals. to enjoy it, let the battery run down below 20% before charging it FULLY again. instead of charging it any chance you get.

and there are various customer service centers of the phone in nigeria. it is serviced by CARLCARE. there's an app on the phone that hass all the address contacts of the company.
