Okay, the number one action item on my to-do at work tomorrow would be to submit an application to embark on my leave holiday throughout next week. This will give me ample time to complete EY's onboarding process after i collect my offer letter.

Beth Why Access Bank......

This is to share my utmost dissatisfaction!!!

I wrote the access test since May 23.......So many peeps that wrote after me has gotten mails for final assessment, some are even done and awaits training school. I am sure I passed TMI because the Man that interviewed me told me specifically that I am definitely moving to the next stage.... But up till now, no mail from access bank.

It is disheartening and equally an emotional ordeal. I besiege access bank to work on their recruitment process and kindly make it more organised.
This is really unfair.....

This process is really somehow....can't peeps from same stage move together?.....a guy that I wrote the test before him and did panel with is done with the whole process.....and ayam still here waiting for account opening mail...quite unfair

Superb experience!!!..... Assessment centre was so sweet!..Perfect coordination, nice and sweet assessors, interesting and intelligent team members, wonderful presentations from smart peeps....on top of it all, dey gave us a sumptuous, delicious meal (jollof rice+turkey+plaintain)....EY is the real deal!!!

It was a wawu experience. I wish us all the best!!!!

Ok, I actually did mine on Friday. I was scheduled for 3pm but ended up doing mine by 8pm. The man dat was supposed to interview my set was in a meeting. We were asked to wait or come back d following day, we chose to wait sha.

The man was really friendly with me, he started by making some jokes about my surname.
He then asked why I want to work in a bank and not an accounting firm since I studied accounting.
He also asked why accessbank, what I know abt accessbank nd what I did to be able to graduate with a 2.1.

Then, finally...'do u you have any question'?... And that led to another round of gisting.



The main thing is to be confident and relaxed. Questions are likely to spring up from the responses you give. So, dont say what u can't defend.

Like how many of you guys were there?

Anyways. Never give up. Don't listen to peoples pessimistic comments. Stay Positive. My simple advice is that if you have done your Panel Interview and you are yet to receive feedback, it means you might be invited for Top Management Interview soon. Start preparing for the 2 million naira exercise. The earlier you start, the better because that money ain't easy to come by. (I'm talking from experience). SHALOM

This same recruitment has been going on for years and there's no account of a time when Offers weren't made to successful ones. Besides, we are all adults here, we don't need you to tell us when to move on or not. Kindly swallow your pessimistic advice and enjoy PwC.

And for your info, ain't the one that got PWC offer, I never applied to PWC before jealousy will drain your soul. AGBAYA!!!!...don't goan do something tangible with your life before its too late!!

If you are really putting things on hold cause of access bank recruitment...Its time to move on like you never took part. If they call you later, fine...If they don't....the job is not urs.

Some people are already at the last stage of the process (Account Opening Stage) and training school (2nd batch) is gonna resume latest 1st week in September.

Hmm, it was definitely rigid. I spent about 40 minutes and believe me they asked all sorts of questions. This one pass behavioral interview o or About EY. Believe me it got to a point i was wondering if nah only me waka come

I tried my best but as the questions kept deviating from the norm, anxiety got the better of me. At some point my brain went completely down that if they had asked 2+2, i would have said 22

If at all there is anyone left having their interviews, just know that "What ever you say will be drastically used against you during the interview".
