What is Wrong Utme?
Ans: if you have anything like wrong utme indicated on ur
portal, it means the subjects combination which you offered
in your jamb exam do not tally with the course you applied
for. Hence, the reason you were given the course you have
now.
Can I purchase change of course form for wrong utme?
Ans: No, except you wan do xmas for d skul.
Have been offered admission on school portal, but Jamb is
yet to give me admission why?
Ans: Jamb does not give admission, its the school that
offers students admission. The role of jamb is to request for
the lists of students granted admission in the school to
process their admission letters which serves as a
"CLEARANCE" from jamb..but it could be re-called if u were
found to engage in exam malpractice.
Have been given admission, but its yet to reflect on jamb
site why?
Ans: do knw that the list that reflect on jamb site even
before its updated on school site is always merit list,
subsequent lists are usually updated most times on school
site before such are forwarded to JAMB. And it might even
take up to a month or more before it reflect on JAMB site so
do not panic
How do I pay my acceptance?
Ans: log on to your portal to print your "acceptance Invoice"
where you have the #40,000 payment indicated. Then print
and take along with you your ATM card to any POS stand in
PS or Mini-Campus to process your payment..
How many hours does it take to print my receipt online?
Ans: take your mind off the 48 hrs, it might take up to a
week do not panic.
Does WAEC or SSCE subjects combination matter when am
performing my verification?
Ans: yes, if the subjects you have in your waec or ssce do
not consist of the core subject required for the course you
have been offered, you will be moved to another
dept..example: to study Psychology u need Maths, English,
Biology, and any other two subjects..."Biology" is core
subject to study Psychology.
How many sittings is required to study in OOU?
Ans: at most two sittings
Can I pay my tax clearance now?
Ans: do not make payment now, wait till next year january if
u knw u won't be starting your verification this year because
what you will have on the tax clearance will be 2014 and it
is automatically invalid next year and you might face
myriads of problem trying to get your document
stamped..except the person verifying you back dates the
stamp to 2014..and its very rare to see someone Nice like
Lamina..lolz
How much is tax clearance certificate, and can i use
someone's certificate whose surname is same as mine?
Ans: tax clearance is 10500, and you can use your friend's
certificate provided his/her surname is same as your..you
can also use your parents' certificate issued in Ogun state
only.
I do not have credit in mathematics can I study mass
comm, if no will I still retain my admission?
Ans: to study mass comm u need atleast C6 in
mathematics and the core subject is "literature"... Yes you u
still have your admission but you will be moved to either of
the following....philosophy, history and diplomatic studies
(aleast E8 or D7 in mathematics), English( provided you
have literature), performing arts, french( provided you have
french)....
The fee is high my parents do not have the money to pay,
can I defer my admission?
Ans: you can only defer your admission if you have been
given Matric No and if such deferment is applied for on
some reasonable conditions like: persistent illness, lack of
money to pay for the next level etc and this should not
exceed 2 sessions..

So what would happen to those with 'wrong utme combination' hope they won't change our course again and can we start paying acceptance fee now??

yeah u are mine also is saying the same. That means our subject combo in jamb is not correct for the course we opt for tho am given the course i chose.

I choose the right subject combo nau (english, literature, government and economics). It's very correct for mass com but was given another course. I don't understand though

i will advise u to go não buy it now,dey sold last year own till afta we were through with jamb.but it might not b so dis year,cox y dey sold d last one lik dat might b bcox of d strike.so u shuld try to go não buy d form in mini campus.it wont b more dan 10k in mini campus.mak sure u hold ur atm wit u,cox u will pay through pos,acceptance for 2014/2015 was 20k.so once u buy d form and u pay d acceptance fee,u don gain admsn b dat
