My offer letter, CAS, Documents included in my CAS which are- my WAEC result, BSc Certificate & Transcript, then my international passport, printed online application form, bank statement, Printed IHS surcharge confirmation email, 2 face passports and my printed appointment confirmation.

Hi everyone, i applied for Uk student visa in Abuja early june and i got my visa in less than 4 working days. I wasnt given the new 30day temporary vignette tho. I was given the visa for my full study period. Valid from 21st Aug 2015- 30th Jan 2017. The start date on my CAS is 21st Sept 2015 and end date is 30th Sept 2016. I called my enrolment manager at Coventry University and told her about it and she said it is not a problem that it is because i applied early and as at when they issued my visa, they hadn't started issuing the temporary vignette for Nigeria. I want to know; even with getting my full study visa, do i still need the biometric residence permit?

Pls tobipearl,can you please itemize the list of documents you submitted for the visa application.Thank You

I am trying to make payment for the voucher and it is not working.....the payment gateway keeps getting disconnected and cant connect with my bank(access Bank),,please house what do you suggest that i should do...Thanks

@Justwise...its my mum,so is it possible to use her account in UK to apply in Nigeria or it has 2 be a naija acct

@Justwise.,i need to know if my sponsor in UK can use her UK account ova there with d tuition+maintenance money in it for 28days or it must be a naija acct

@spikeC and Justwise=====How would one get caught if he/she attends classes regularly eventhough one commutes to school from another city.....I know its a bit risky and stressful,,,.Isnt SCHOOLING AND SURVIVING IN UK a risky and stressful venture......keep up the good work guys......

@Justwise.....I hope i dint bother you too much.i really appreciate your responses,,they were very very helpful,,i just want to reduce the burden by staying with her and working a little extra to support myself.I would rather want to study in coventry than northampton......but anyway i will keep you updated

now i understand quite well......,

lets say im able to pay full fees,can I stay in northampton while i study in coventry cus my sponsor wants me to study there

also explain what you mean about foreign students getting visas in post office(wont i get my visa in naija b4 i leave)...surviving in UK isnt an issue,i have a sister in reading,a brother in luton,an uncle in london,so surviving isnt an issue.

so back to my initial question==can i get to work up to 40hr/per week and i can always get to rent a place in coventry during project or exams.....

I wouldnt want to disturb her for maintenance allowance since she's 61(showing proof of the 7380 isnt an issue,its IF I HAVE IT TO SPEND..I guess you understand) thats why im asking if staying with her in northampton and schooling in coventry is better.staying with her would reduce my expenses notably rent,feeding etc

I know you are against working for more than 20hrs a week but is there a way to work for more than 20hrs since mum will only pay 6500+expenses out of the 12000+.....
so i need to earn a little to save for remaining fees and also something home for my wife and daughter that im leaving behind in naija...

My school fees is around 12k,how much of the maintenance deposit must show,is it 7280 or 820/month.

So is it possible to stay in northampton while i study in coventry

@Mr Justwise/spikeC----This is my first time here and this thread seems helpful.I have a few questions.I would like to UK for MSC in IT. and would be staying with my mum whose is also my sponsor.I will be staying with her since my 2 options are either in northampton or coventry since she owns a 3bdrm in northampton and she stays alone.........
