You ought to have booked visa appointment while still waiting for your admission letter, I booked my visa appointment via email two months ago while still waiting for my admission that time but luckily for me, I got admission last Friday and my interview date is July 4. send me email on omoboriowo001@Gmail.com.

TU Berlin sent me a document to book Visa appointment while still waiting for admission and I used it.
How did you get the letter, Did you apply for it? and what process did you go through to get it done?
Did you apply for it after uni-assist forwarded your documents to them or before?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Dammy112: 11:04pm On Jun 20, 2018
Has anyone gotten this kind of message from uni-assist portal...I see the error message: “You have changed account data. Your changes have to be checked by uni-assist. You can not edit any application meanwhile.”

How can I reactivate the account, I have emailed uni-assist

Did you pay with POS or paid Cash. The right procedure is to pay with POS direct into CBN account after the Registrar have billed you.
We are Nigerians, I understand people create office where there is non. The payment since 2015 is by POS or bank teller. They make it difficult for you to meet the registrar because they are like sharks. The official price is still N10 per page. If you doubt me try another state or federal high court.
Did they keep each copy of the documents for their own filling. That is another way to know if the guy followed due process or just stamped it off record.
You people should stop giving fake advise that you read about somewhere.I did not get it done yesterday, I just wanted to have an idea of how much it costs and for how much.
Pls people on NL should ONLY be giving confirmed information and NOT something that was stated on a website. This is Nigeria...
If I doubt you, I already doubt you for saying its 10# per page and what concerns CBN with money being paid for certification at a High Court.
I will be going back there later today and Will give better information.

I went to the high court in Lagos to certify my documents on Monday. I went to the registrars office she told me the price was 200 naira per page. She also wanted to know what I required them for and which country I was going to school and if I had taken German classes lol. She wrote the price and signed on all the copies after sighthing my originals. Though she refused to certify my age declaration which was issued by same court 17 years ago. Her reason was she wasn't there when it was issued so she can't certify it. I went to the cash office and paid the fees for the certification. I was issued an official receipt for the amount paid. I took it back to the registrars office and she signed and put 2 stamps on it. In total I had 3 stamps on the document 1 from the cash office and 2 from the registrars office. It took me 30 mins to complete the process. Her office is quite busy but she attends to people quickly.
So are you suggesting that I should go to the registrars' office? I will try and get there tomorrow to see if I can get them done. Do you have the contact of the woman or anyone you know in the registrars' office?Thank you

Another fast way to certification of document is to meet notary public lawyers in their offices across states.
Though they charge higher than the courts, N500 per document but it is recognised by many international body or certify at the ministry of education if it is only academic certificates.
Embassy certification is preferred above all but too hard for people living outside Lagos and Abuja
I was at Ikeja High court today and was told its 500 naira per copy but I hassled it down to 350#, I was thinking someone on here said its done 10naira per copy. Please verify. If You have anyone in mind who does it, I will gladly appreciate it. I just want to make sure its the right certification. Lady at embassy did not certify the transcripts saying the original copy(students copy) did not have the stamp on it. She just certified other documents and did not certify the transcripts.

Do you live in Lagos?

They are not touts! They're normal people, hustling to feed themselves. They merely serve as middle man between you and the registrar or whatever the officer is called.

And the office that certified those documents can be easily contacted, because they're real legal office.

Good luck trying to access the registrar office yourself o, most especially in Lagos. You will spend the entire day on hold.
I live in lagos...I will try and find out myself today. Thank you

Go to Ikeja High court, just after the Ikeja bridge, it's a very popular place. There are several hustlers outside of the court that will do it for you at a reasonable price. I did mine there.
Thank you. Do you have any idea of where the WAEC office is in Ogba.

Where can I get to certify my documents in Lagos apart from the German consulate? The lady refused to certify my transcripts claiming its a student copy that it would be better if my school send transcripts directly to the schools in Germany which will cost me alot since they are more than a school that I am applying to. So does anyone know where I can have my documents certified in Lagos(Ikeja preferably or Ikosi CMD area?

Secondly, How can I get a new WAEC certificate from Waec, the one I have is a photocopy, I could not find the original copy and the lady refused to certify it.

Awaiting your responses.

This is applicable if you are using 'old' visa portal - www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk

If you apply using the 'new service' - www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration, The Standard Visitor visa has replaced the following
Family Visitor visa
General Visitor visa
Child Visitor visa
Business Visitor visa, including visas for academics, doctors and dentists
Sports Visitor visa
Entertainer Visitor visa
Prospective Entrepreneur visa
Private Medical Treatment Visitor visa
Approved Destination Status (ADS) visa

I observed that most posters are still using the old service. That is why questions are asked about " How much do you have for this trip?" Or "What is your monthly income in pound sterling?". All these confusing questions have been removed from the form in the new service. Also, they removed questions about breakdown of the costs of vacation into flight, hotel etc. Just the total is required.

If you are using the new service (which gives drop down choices of pound or naira), it is advisable in the light of floating exchange rate to state your annual income (which is what is asked for) as well as monthly routine expenses in naira while the cost of your stay in UK is better stated in pound sterling after all that is what you are going to spend there. With this method, you won't bother if naira suddenly take a dive while you have used a particular forex rate.

It should be noted that under new service you cannot make multiple applications on one account (e.g. applying for members of family). What you will do is to make separate applications under separate accounts on www.gov.uk. After that, you go to Teleperformance website to create a single account and add all the other members of the group using the GWF generated from the gov.uk site. Infact it is a must that all members of a family traveling together must use the same account on Teleperformance if they are applying at the same time.

I used the new service for my family and I. Our visas came out within 5 days in Abuja- did biometrics on Monday, received decision mail on Thursday, collected passports on Friday. No priority added value service.
So are you saying its better to use the new service,I tried it and it seem totally different and straightforward from the old one.

Any suggestions.

They are both UK consulate, applications in Ikeja is treated in Nigeria, and VI is UK. Ikeja has an extra charge
So exactly whats the extra charge really for.
I hope where I submit my application doesn't determine the outcome of my visa application. Please advice

I need a little clarification.what advantage do you get if one submits application in Ikeja and not VI since one needs to pay extra 82$.I would like to know if there is any advantage with submitting in Ikeja Vs Abuja or VI.

Can someone confirm how much they got charged in naira when they paid visa fee?

Thanks.
