Abeg! I want to ask if you can unlock UK network phones such as (O2, Vodafone, 3, Tmobile, Orange) please the phones are blocked here in the UK. Does that mean it cannot be unlocked for use in Nigeria. Whether by chip or permanent unlock.

Abeg my friend wants to sell me an iPhone 4 which is blocked in the UK, it is originally on the O2 network. He claims it would work abroad if I can manage to unlock it. But I am in full doubt of the fellow. Is there anyway I can unlock the phone and use it when I get to Nigeria. (it was a contract phone, his contract ran out because of his account and the phone was blocked from all UK networks)
