Probably it was in-cooperated into Yoruba language after Oduduwa came, because if Yoruba can take a foreigner as their father, I guess there is nothing impossible.

Oba isn't originally Yorubas, check the whole Yoruba land, is either you have, alaafin of Oyo, ooni of Ife, ataoja of osogbo etc, it's only benin and Lagos that maintains it's oba, as oba of benin and oba of Lagos, just because it's believed that Benin kingdom stretched up to Lagos in ancient time.

However, their Oba was sired by a Yoruba man called Oranmiyan which the king himself confirmed.

Oranmiyan is not a Yoruba, he is a from oduduwa, and Oduduwa isn't a Yoruba man, he is a foreigner which the Benin believe he is from them
