Here's what I'm trading this morning; I'm buying CHFJPY at 122.61, close two-thirds at 123.50 and the rest one-third at 123.83

please, see screenshot. For risk management, I don't use stoploss, but hedging. If u want to use a stoploss or place a hedge, it should be around 121.88.

Apologies for my 3-day hiatus. It was due o wholly unexpected circumstances which needed attending to. Thanks for your understanding.
Now, did you make any money? Lols. There's a story behind that statement. Let me quickly share it with you...

A few years ago, 2012 I think, I had to move into a hotel for a period. My landlord had informed me before I moved in that he intended carrying out major renovations in the building at a particular period in a few month's time. So, when the time came, I had no choice but to relocate to a hotel. I knew the cash on me would run out within a couple of weeks of lodging in that hotel, so I put the money in a Forex account which I intended to use to sort my bills while I lodged at the hotel. grin

Well, I started trading my small account a little over $500 the same day I was checked into this hotel and sat all day, trading in the lobby-cum-reception area day-in-day-out. I was doing quite well actually.

A few days into my Forex hotel project, An African American woman, who was at the hotel with her family, took interest in what I was doing and asked me about it. I explained Forex to her. Soon, everyday she and her kids arrived the hotel lobby to or from their sight-seeing, she would pause a moment by the stairs and look me straight in the eye and say in a very direct tone of voice.

"Buddy?" Then I'd answer "Yes, please?". Then she says, "Did you make any money?" To which my answer of course was "Yes!" because I did make money. But then one day, I made losses, and was hoping when she returned she wouldn't remember to ask me this ominous question. Well, she returned before I could escape to my room and asked directly, "Buddy, did you make any money?". I wanted to lie to her but her gaze seemed to pierce through my body and I felt she might see through my lie, so I said, "yeah, these happens once in a while...". There were quite a number of people in the hotel lobby that day watching this exchange with the American lady. Sweat broke out on my forehead as I contemplated their faces. In the meantime, my interrogator thanked me for telling her the truth, and disappeared to her rooms upstairs.

I had hoped to secure Forex investments from her and others, many of whom were in the lobby during my verbal discourse with the American. I didn't need a soothsayer to tell me I could kiss those investment hopes goodbye. That was also the last time I was asked this question by the American lady. "Buddy, did you make any money?"

I hope you enjoyed my story? Feel free to share yours. We're here to rub minds and also share anecdotes.

Thank you Namdo. The indies mentioned in your comment (apart from EWO) are part of my system. The 200 day EMA and 50 day SMA (OrangeRed and Chartreuse colors resp.) Please, find attached my chart showing them.

Brilliant idea , I am currently working on an track records which I started November 1st 2015 , my dream is to build at least one year track record .. My trading result as at today is +3% since inception and my annual target is 50% and I don't want to exceed a maximum drawdown of 5% ..

Thank you. I am really impressed by your resolve and the very realistic goals you set for yourself! Not some 200% monthly we see bandied around a lot here on nairaland and elsewhere. Professional trading is all about consistency in following the rules of the game. One of which is taking calculated risks which you have mentioned and sound money management.

I got mine in 2011 around November, when an American gave me my first $10,000 cash to invest for him. He had learnt I could trade Forex through a friend of his who knew me and had seen me trade. I was vibrating and couldn't believe my eyes because before this time I hadn't seen so many US dollars. But to God be the glory, less than a year later, precisely July 2012 or so, I could afford to give a close person to me $30,000 to invest and pay returns monthly!

The millionaire feeling is like receiving a shot of 'some substance' in the arm; you walk and talk confidently and make bold decisions which will bring in more money. Today, I'm thinking of hundreds of millions of naira before 2016 is over. Amen. I have a thread I just opened for people who feel they don't have anything: It shows how such people can own a thousand dollars trading Forex with just $50!

The keys are usually patience, persistence and focus in following your passion no matter what.

This thread is dedicated to the folks who complain they don't have enough money to trade. This is usually the reason many lose in Forex - starting with too little. However, I have good news for you! Can you raise $50 to fund your account? If yes, then this thread is for you! I have found a way to grow tiny accounts into fairly big ones. This project is supposed to get us from $50 to $1000! Sounds big right? But we'll get there by God's grace. I hope at the least, this would give you some hope.

You may not even have $50 to start with, don't worry this project account started with $50 from my broker (NewForex). I started it with you in mind last week (7th Dec) and its already grown 30% ($65.14) as at time of posting this.

Good afternoon house, I'm doing a study on a broker (NewForex) with a LIVE account. I placed two trades yesternight before going to bed and woke up to find my stops were knocked out without the price candles reaching them.

Can anyone please explain to me if this is right and if not what steps to take against the company? Kindly see screenshots. Thanks

It will interest you to know that these people has a crazy mentality of Europe than the West Africans! Probably they are closer though.

With good reason too. The aftermath of the sl called 'Arab Spring' in these countries have left them mostly improverished and quite hopeless.

Hi folks,

I saw this stuff on TV (Al Jazeera and BBC) about thousands of migrants from Africa and the Middle East risking their lives cutting through rows od high security barbed wire fences to hitch rides on trains to the UK via Calais. I have not been to France before but I was thinking France with all its beautiful spots including its world-famous capital, Paris, would be the real deal?? Can Nlers in diaspora enlighten us as to why these folks are risking life and limb to cross the channel to England even when they are already in a developed country (France)?

Muslim women sympathetic to the cause of the Islamic State, better known as ISIS, are reportedly offering up their bodies for sex to comfort militant members of the group in a practice known as Jihad Al-Nikah, or sexual jihad. According to a 16-year-old girl who was repeatedly subjected to the practice, it is nothing more than rape that made her so sick, she passed out.
Senior intelligence officials in Malaysia, told The Malaysian Insider that at least three Malaysian women had travelled from that country to the Middle East to join ISIS specifically for sexual jihad.
The controversial practice began in 2013 after a Wahhabi edict called for Sunni Muslim women to present themselves for sexual jihad in order to boost the confidence of men fighting Bashar al-Assad's rule in Syria, according to the Insider.
"These women are believed to have offered themselves in sexual comfort roles to ISIS fighters who are attempting to establish Islamic rule in the Middle East. This concept may seem controversial but it has arisen as certain Muslim women here are showing sympathy for the ISIS struggle," an unidentified intelligence official told The Malaysian Insider.

The official said one of the Malaysian women travelled to the Middle East last December.
"The woman, in her 30s, went to Turkey before meeting up with middlemen who helped her to complete her journey to Syria via land routes," said the official. Another woman in her 40s also joined ISIS in April.
The source pointed out that Muslim women were travelling from several countries to join ISIS for the sexual jihad.
"Intelligence exchanged with other countries revealed that Sunni Muslim women from Australia and the United Kingdom had also joined up with ISIS," said the official.
The official explained that shortly after ISIS took over the city of Mosul in Iraq, where all the Christians were reportedly chased out in June, the militants issued a conscription of sexual Jihad.
"Shortly after the town of Mosul in Iraq was captured by ISIS forces, people were ordered to send unmarried women to jihad for sex," said the official. "In its proclamation, ISIS threatened to impose sharia law on all those who failed to comply with the edict or decree."
A teenage girl from Syria, however, who was offered up for sexual jihad by her father to rebels linked to Al-Qaeda, described her experience last year as brutal rape which she was forced to endure repeatedly even though it made her sick.

"While I was taking a shower, a man came in and he was about over the age of 50 and he was wearing nothing but normal clothes….he started to come close to me in the bathroom but he didn't care … the room was small and I was screaming and yelling…so he grabbed me by the hair and took me to the room," she explained in a YouTube clip.
"I was screaming, yelling my father could hear me but never hesitated to do anything or come to take the man away from me. He (man) did what he did, unstrapped and at the same time another man came. The first one was not even done yet and another one [came] into the room," she continued.
She explained that she lost consciousness and eventually fell ill after she was raped repeatedly. She explained that she was eventually saved by Syrian soldiers after she called for help at a check point while on her way to a sexual jihad with her mother later on.

I'm into forex trading and work in a bank. With enough capital, my plan is to resign in June 2013 and go full time into my forex trading. This is to enable me work from home, earn more income, be my own boss, and most importantly, give better attention to my 2 children.

So, if I'm able to pay my investors 10% profit per month, trading part-time with just few hours in a day and without the use of robots, It is clear that I can pay up to 20% per month if I go full time.

pipmaster77: Oga the details of your ATM you posted here is demo and no one will take you serious. Kindly post details of your live account with your investor password only so that I can monitor the performance and report back to the house. Trading demo is different from live because nothing is working against you neither your EA and you can decide to do manual trade and risk almost of all your capital on let say 10lots and scale out of the trade with 1lot each and it will look as if your EA successfully won 10 trades without loss.

What happen to Leoprotrade EA, the owner do manual trade for sometime and claimed it was the EA and since it was launched for public the EA never made $1000 successfully apart from the profit it made before the launch. The version that meant to trade Usdchf & Usdjpy even crash the account to zero level. I am not against you neither your EA but I do not want people to be cheated and like I said it before if you can give us your live account details and this EA work well for 6months, I will buy it for $10,000.

No problem. Mine is an ECN account. So, I'm not trading against the broker.

The decision by NHS doctors to strike over pensions will damage patient care, says health secretary Andrew Lansley.

A majority of doctors voted in favour of a day of action on 21 June in a ballot of 104,000 members of the British Medical Association.

In a letter to the head of the BMA, Mr Lansley condemns the decision.

He says up to 30,000 operations may have to be cancelled, 58,000 diagnostic tests postponed and 200,000 outpatient appointments rescheduled.

In a letter to the British Medical Association, Mr Lansley says that the action will "at best inconvenience and at worst harm" patients.

"The adverse impact on patients of postponing and rescheduling these procedures will echo through the NHS long after the strike you are proposing," he writes.

The BMA maintains the strike action - the profession's first for nearly 40 years - is necessary and will not impact on safety and those with the most serious needs would still be seen.

The move by the BMA is in opposition to increases to pension contributions, and a later retirement age for doctors.

Dr Hamish Meldrum, chairman of BMA Council, said: "We are working closely with NHS managers to plan the day of action and to ensure any postponed appointments or operations are rearranged so that patients are given as much notice as possible.

"Patient safety will be our absolute priority. Doctors will be in their usual places of work and providing urgent and emergency care to all those who need it.

"We will be considering the contents of the letter and will reply to the secretary of state shortly."
