The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it will release about 1.3 million results of candidates that sat for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Monday (today).

These are results from centres that have been screened for possible cases of malpractice.

According to JAMB Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who stated this on Sunday in an interview, the UTME results of Computer-Based Test centres where the CCTV showed malpractices had been cancelled.

He further disclosed that the board through CCTV cameras discovered some of the strange things that happened in some of the examination centres,

He mentioned cases of CBT centre owners collecting money from candidates to engage in malpractices and also threatening JAMB officials at the centres.

Regarding candidates whose bimetric details could not be verified, Benjamin said such candidates would not be allowed to retake the examination, as the biometric verification had already disqualified them.

Meanwhile, Big Brother Naija: See Gobbe housemate, Somadina Anyama better known simply as Soma, has shared that he believes the current set of housemates do not match up to the standards set by him and his fellow housemates from the penultimate season.

In a chat with Hip TV, Soma made sure to commend the current housemates – saying they’re entertaining and all – but then, went on to state that there is an obvious contrast and anyone who followed the show from last year can tell.

While Rico blamed circumstances as obstacles that can stop one from identifying their specific talent in time; Cee-C believed that many Parents did not do enough to push their children towards their dreams.

“We need to be better parents than the ones before us. Our parents didn’t do well. The best thing that can ever happen is for a child to be supported by their parents. I was beaten for acting Drama,” Cee-C said.

She finally urged parents to support their children immensely.

“Do all you can for the well being of your child. We can’t understand things as children, only parents can. Do well to support your children in achieving their dreams,” She advised.

Cee-C seems to have the support of her parents now as she once mentioned that her father even gave her some advises while she was coming for the Big Brother Naija show. According to her, it was her dad that asked her to stay away from any sexual act in the house and she would also go far if she pretended to be a married woman.

Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz, has filed for divorce from Tiwa Savage, TheCable reports.

According to TheCable, as opposed to reports suggesting that Tiwa filed for divorce, Tunji actually took the step towards ending their marriage.

A source privy to the development revealed that “he has relocated to the US for a fresh start after working with life coach, Lanre Olusola”.

The music industry source told TheCable that Savage’s resolve to focus squarely on her career — which Tee Billz had put in jeopardy with his past public display — was the final nail in the coffin for their union.

“Tiwa’s career was more important to her than TeeBillz’s wellbeing,” the source said, adding that: “He wants to move on and start life afresh”, hence, his decision to file for divorce.

Following what looked like a reunion between Tiwa Savage and her estranged husband, insiders have claimed that the marriage has failed to hold and parties will be walking away after a divorce proceeding.

Nigerian music star, Tiwa and her husband, Tee Billz have reportedly failed to reconcile and so will be getting an official divorce as they go their separate ways after over 4 years together as husband and wife.

Things really fell apart after that suicidal stunt where Teebillz disgraced her and she responded with mind blowing revelations about their marriage.

Insiders revealed that all moves to settle the pair fell through and Teebillz has quietly relocated to America leaving his son, Jamil behind.

The Begining – 2010

In 2010, Tiwa Savage moved back to Nigeria with Tee Billz as her manager after the two had met in America a year before.

Tiwa Savage who is an alumnus of the prestigious Bekerly Music School in Boston started off as alternative and R&B singer before meeting Tunji Balogun at a Timaya concert in L.A through a mutual friend.

Tee Billz soon convinced Tiwa Savage to move back to Nigeria after she impressed him with a demo tape and ultimately rebranded her from a tomboy to a sexy diva.

Dating Rumours and PDA – 2012

Two years after the two kicked off operations in Nigeria, rumours of a possible love affair between Tiwa and Tee Billz began to make the rounds.

In September of the same year, the lovebirds validated the speculations after sharing a kiss at the Elite Model Look Nigeria finale.

Romantic Getaways, The Proposal, and Traditional Rights – 2013

In 2013, the two continued to fuel dating rumours as they shared photos from their romantic getaway in Dubai. In the second month of 2013, Tee Billz stepped things up by putting a ring on her finger.

It was a dual celebration as the proposal took place during the celebration of Tiwa’s 33rd birthday. At the close of 2013 (November), Tee Billz and Tiwa Savage had their traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos.

Destination Wedding, and Controversy – 2014

A year after Tee Billz proposed, the two tied the knot in Dubai with family members and a few friends (entertainers included) in attendance. Months after the exotic wedding, news started making rounds suggesting that there was chaos in their home, stemming from infidelity and extramarital affairs.

Months later, Tee Billz shutdown the rumours and insisted that there is peace in their home.

Arrival of the Baby – 2015

On the first of January 2015, Tiwa Savage revealed that there was a baby underway and six months later (July) the two welcomed their son – Jamil Balogun.

Social Media Drama, Suicide Attempt and The Tell-All – 2016

A year after welcoming their bundle of joy, Tee Billz went on the infamous Instagram blow-out that saw him accuse Tiwa Savage of infidelity. Tee Billz claimed that Tiwa Savage had been indulging in extramarital affairs with Don Jazzy, 2Baba, and Dr Sid.

Hours after the mental/emotional breakdown, Tee Billz was reported to have attempted suicide. Reports suggested that he almost jumped into a lagoon but was saved by the intervention of close friends; Banky-W and Rudeboy of P-Square.

Following Tee Billz’s Instagram outburst, Tiwa Savage offered a tell-all interview where she gave an unrestrained account of what has been happening in their marriage. Tiwa accused Tee Billz of cheating, financial recklessness, and drug abuse.

Tunji Took Responsibility – 2017

In the year that followed, Tee Billz took responsibility for the storm in his home and sort to find help. Through the support of Lagos-based life coach, Lanre Olusola, Billz gained mental balance and became an advocate of family morals.

Donatus Dunu, a business man and one of the alleged victims of suspected kidnap kingpin, has testified against Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evansin court, Punch reports.

Dunu told the court how he was abducted, and how he subsequently escaped from capture.

Evans and his gang had requested €1 million, Duru said, and had rejected ₦60 million when it was offered.

I CLOSED FROM WORK AROUND 7:30 P.M. WHEN AN SUV DOUBLE-CROSSED ME AND A MAN CAME DOWN FROM THE CAR AND POINTED A LONG GUN AT ME. HE DRAGGED ME DOWN AND PUSHED ME INTO THE BOOTH OF THEIR CAR AND SHUT IT.

AT A TIME, THEY (MY FAMILY) SAID THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RAISE UP TO ₦60 MILLION, PROMISING THAT WHEN I COME OUT, THEY WILL PAY THE REMAINING MONEY, BUT EVANS SAID ME AND MY BROTHER WERE SAYING RUBBISH.

I OVERHEARD ONE OF THE KIDNAPPERS TELLING OTHERS THAT THE BEST OPTION WAS TO KILL ME SINCE MY BROTHERS WERE NOT ACTING FAST IN PAYING THEIR €1 MILLION.

BUT AFTER I PRAYED IN THE MIDNIGHT OF THURSDAY, BEFORE THE FRIDAY THEY SCHEDULED TO KILL ME, THE SHACKLES ON MY LEGS, LIKE THE ONE USED TO CHAIN MAD PEOPLE AND THE PADLOCKS, OPENED UP.

I FOUND THE KIDNAPPER GUARDING ME DEEP IN SLEEP ON A THREE-SEATER IN THE PARLOUR.

I WALKED TO THE KITCHEN, FOUND THE DOORS OPEN; THEN TO THE PROTECTOR, EASED MY WAY THROUGH THE LOOSE LOCKS; AND, SURPRISINGLY, I FOUND A LADDER IN THE COMPOUND THAT AIDED MY ESCAPE INTO THE NEXT COMPOUND.

ON THE DAY THAT I JUMPED INTO THE NEXT COMPOUND, WHICH WAS ALSO A BUNGALOW LIKE THE ONE IN WHICH I WAS KEPT, I SUSTAINED INJURIES, APART FROM LOOKING VERY UNKEMPT AND HAGGARD; SO, THE COUPLE INTO WHOSE COMPOUND I JUMPED WERE SCARED.

THEY THREATENED TO CALL SECURITY IN THE STREET OR THE POLICE. I TOLD THEM TO CALL THE POLICE. WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT TO DO THAT, ELECTRICITY WENT OFF AND THEY ABANDONED ME AND WENT BACK TO SLEEP.

AT THAT TIME, I REALISED THAT THE KIDNAPPERS HAD STARTED LOOKING FOR ME. SO, I HID SOMEWHERE IN THERE TILL MORNING.

THE COUPLE WOKE UP TO SEE ME AND DECIDED TO CALL THE STREET CHAIRMAN. BUT BEFORE THEY COULD DO THAT, A YOUNG MAN, OF ABOUT 24 YEARS OF AGE, FLOGGED ME AND CHASED ME OUT OF THE COMPOUND.

I GOT TO A NURSERY SCHOOL AROUND THE KIDNAPPERS’ DEN AND THE CORPORATE GUARDS THERE DIDN’T STILL BELIEVE MY STORY. SOMEHOW, ANOTHER MAN WHO LISTENED TO MY STORY DECIDED TO CALL MY WIFE AND COUSIN WHEN I GAVE HIM THEIR NUMBERS. IT WAS MY COUSIN’S LINE THAT CONNECTED AND THEY SPOKE.

SO, THE MAN THEN BELIEVED THAT I WAS NOT A THIEF. HE THEN TOOK ME TO IDIMU POLICE STATION, FROM WHERE THE ILUPEJU POLICE STATION, WHERE MY BROTHERS INITIALLY LODGED THE COMPLAINT OF MY KIDNAPPING, WAS CONTACTED.

FROM THERE, WE WENT TO THE ANTI-CULTISM AND KIDNAPPING (DEPARTMENT) IN SURULERE AND THEN TO THE LAGOS STATE POLICE COMMISSIONER’S OFFICE, FROM WHERE ALL OF US WENT TO THE KIDNAPPERS’ DEN.

THEREAFTER, I WAS TAKEN TO POLICE HOUSE IN LAGOS, WHERE I SAW EVANS AND THE SECOND DEFENDANT.

ALSO AT AGEGE POLICE STATION, I SAW THE FOURTH DEFENDANT KNOWN AS CONGO, WHO IS FROM MY HOME TOWN.

AT THE MEETINGS, THEY PLEADED THAT I SHOULD FORGIVE THEM THAT IT WAS THE DEVIL THAT PUSHED THEM.

A Twitter user, has shared screenshots of the humourous conversation between her mother and her brother which took place on her mother’s birthday.

The mother certainly has to be an English teacher with the way she was correcting her son – the gentleman had simply wished his mom a happy birthday and said a little prayer, but his mom wasn’t having this simplicity.

His mom straight up told him to eulogize her like his sisters had done and in a bid to do this, he had a few errors in his eulogy. It’s her birthday, so she has all the time in the world, she pointed certain errors and asked that he corrected each one.

Still unsatisfied, she eventually had to construct the eulogy for him and even at the end of the their conversation thread, she still corrected him.
