What's the ram consumption ?

Its quite demanding, using like 4gb of ram is definitely not recommended, but 8gb plus is okay, you won't feel it, its more optimized and better than windows. I was on discord, playing a game and on spotify all at thesame time with my 8gb of ram, there were little lags from time to time, but i'll say it handled it well

Which Gnome extensions are you using? The bar looks clean — wondering if that's Dash to Panel or you went with a full shell theme. And how is Wayland working on the HP ProBook? Some older Intel iGPUs still have a few rough edges with screen sharing and stuff.

Thank you so much, i spent so much time on the dock, and yeah its dash to panel, i didnt know wayland didnt work too great with older laptops, honestly, i didnt encounter any problem at any point, maybe mine is newer. And im planning to change it, it is old, planning on getting a t470

So i just installed Fedora and decided to spend the entire day ricing and customizing it, im still new to this tho 🫠

​Don't get me wrong, using AI to code is fast, and it’s great for removing boilerplate code . But the "vibe" crashes the second something breaks. If you're just prompting an LLM to write for you without technical skill, you aren't building,you're just lowkey guessing. You can’t fix what you don’t understand, and you’ll spend more time "re-prompting" a fix than it would have taken to write the logic yourself.
