We are yet to distribute 10k megawatts of electricity, but here these clowns are talking about 24/7 power supply
According to NERC, we'd need to generate and distribute at least 88k megawatts of electricity daily.
Thanks a wholesome deficit of nearly 80k megawatts. |

Lithiumite: People are working and starting businesses daily in Nigeria......our unemployment crisis isn't as bad as opposition will always want us to think.....under employment is not unemployment and I strongly feel the former is the elephant in the room.
Osun state for Instance can create 10,000 household farm settlements across the state for agric value chain development.....each household can employ 4 persons each, thats about 60k people alone.
Just invite people to apply for 1 hectare of land per household to be used for any agro business of choice....govt provides roads, electricity, water, security and guaranteed loans for anyone interested....if you fail,I are pushed out for someone else to take over.
Govt will provide subsidised inputs and equipments like tractors, drones etc to make it tech driven.....there will be a ready market for anything you produce
The state govt can collaborate with fg and private developers to build farm estates that can be mortgaged to the holders.....that's less than a thousand youths per LG in osun state.
But we all blame fg for what state govts can easily do. All the points you highlighted herein only goes on to vilify me. You see, no opposition is blowing the unemployment rate out of proportion. It is the obvious fact. Data does not lie, a simple breakdown of the recruitment process shows clearly that there's massive unemployment in Nigeria. Unemployment is unemployment, whether season, cyclical or underemployment. You mentioned government providing roads, water, electricity, security, and loans. Now if I ask, how has the government fared in this regard? Farmers are killed everyday on their farms by marauding herdsmen, leaving farmers with no choice than to flee their farms to save their lives. Residents of rural areas now leave I'm droves, thanks to Government's nonchalant response to these farmers and rural dwellers pleas for help. Just last year or 2023, Olam farm lost over a million dollars investment of rice plantain in Kogi or Kwara State, due to flood. Painfully, there was an earlier warning about the impending flood, and funds were released to mitigate against it, but unfortunately, the funds were diverted. I go on to further ask, where is the electricity? Nigeria currently generates less than 10k Megawatts, which is barely sufficient for a population of well over 200M. I could go on and on, but there's no point. Your talk is cheap talk. |

Unemployment crisis is killing this nation.
We need to take bold steps to combat unemployment.
I've always been of the view that, reducing unemployment rests majorly on the capability of the government in ensuring that the economy is conducive for businesses to thrive. Without this, we'd keep dancing on same spot for ages.
It's appalling to say, that in spite of the huge number of graduates employed by private employers, the unemployment deficit is still huge in Nigeria. |

WAEC says F9 is fail. D to E are passes.
Also, I had a friend during my primary and secondary school who wasn't intelligent at all.... he made it to the university and became a first class.
You don't taunt people when you don’t know where their growth set in. You should be concerned that he wrote that exam at the age of 36, while writing only 6 papers and still came up with this poor result. And even till now, he doesn't have any other qualification. If your children come home with this kind of result at age 36, ensure you applaud them as they haven't failed. |

Nigeria is just a place where dignity has lost its value and miscreants have been allowed to take over the affairs of the nation.
If not, how do we explain, that a man who at the age of 36 years old couldn't even pass WASSCE (which I'm sure wasn't his first attempt), despite writing just 6 papers.
And today, same Man does even have an OND, yet he's a Governor.
How? Just how?
This proves just one point.
Nigeria is a failed state.

adioolayi: Why Peter Obi come make false assertion say na the Brewery dey pay highest tax in Anambra State
This rebuttal aside...why is it that Anambra State Government always have that habit of going against whatever Peter Obi says
This speaks volume ...Peter Obi is not even a respected elder in his own very State of Origin.
It's a big concern.
For example, a Fayose, Saraki will not say something and their State Government will debunk it...even if na lie, the State Government will have to find a way to manage it.
Peter Obi's own get as e be jare That brewery is the only indigenous company on the list. They only ended up justifying what he said. |
Politics › Re: Top 6 Sources Of Anambra State's IGR — 2024 by danietohbadt(m): 7:36pm On Jul 17, 2025 |
Tjra: Revenue from FirstBank alone is worth more than the brewery almost 5 times.
Just imagine how developed Anambra would have been had Obi given priority to critical sectors of the economy.
If private institutions can generate this much, then imagine how much more the state would make if he made the state very conducive for more companies to flock in.
Government have no business investing in private businesses, just basic amenities and critical infrastructures and watch the private sectors do their magic. Based on your analysis, it can be deduced that your comment lacks credibility because banks are operated and established in all states of the federation. For Obi as a Governor to have started a brewery and till date, no other Governor has done close to what he did, in terms of capital formation, shows clearly how business oriented he is. Banks are are private businesses and you'd find them in nearly every corner of the country. Now ask yourself, going by your argument, what has Soludo done to bring investments into Anambra? Just so you'd know, Obi is a stakeholder at Fidelity Bank. |

Like he said his best bet is to deputize Atiku and they will win flawlessly barring any rigging from the rigging master himself And can Atiku win alone? It's not the turn of the North, so Atiku should forget about the ticket. If Atiku won't step down for Obi, then Tinubu should continue till 2031. Simple. |
