you are not correct. These guys are just acting out a script. Why do you think NNPC increased pump price just few days to Dangote rolling out his products? They want to force him to sell not below their price. See the truth of the matter is Dangote's petrol is world standard, I expect him to sell around 1300-1500 or more. Personally there is really nothing to celebrate about it.

Sharing a range before knowing the ability/value of a potential employee can attract ugly eggs and potentially keep away the valuable ones. You can peg a salary at an amount, but be willing to increase it for those whose value are worth it. You can also peg it at too high to get the great hands, and end up inflating job market needlessly.

You are correct, but with the sad reality of the current economic hardship, you wont want blame anybody that wants to know what they'll be paid before committing themselves. The country is harsh and hard. Even to feed you have to think well.
