I ordered a Nokia X7 from Jumia worth 79,500. After taking a week to arrive rather than 3 days I went to pick it from the delivery agent but he refused me to open the package before paying. So I paid via POS but when I got to home to unbox the phone I found it was not sealed properly. The phone was fairly used with a scratch behind it, the charger was a fake N300 naira charger, the earpiece was fake the document inside phone belonged to a Nokia Lumia.
Like all these weren't bad enough the phone inside was a Nokia 8.1 rather than X7. And the phone was filled of problems like the camera wasn't working and it couldn't pass the First loading page when turned on.
I returned the phone the next day and the agent who picked told me I'll receive the money soon. It has been 2 weeks now and I haven't gotten the refund to my Jumia pay account I've just been receiving mails that it'll be refunded in 10 working days.
I never believed Jumia could be so fraudulent. I'll like to advice that no one should order anything from Jumia and before you pay make sure you open it. Because this 79,500 is too much during this lockdown
