Go for quality wooden doors, mahogany, walnut or oak wood, for the external doors, to toughen it you can include 5mm plates to make it solid (bullet prove).

Then for the internal doors HDF still remains the best because it's workable and materials are accessible. With different colors.

EXTERNAL: I have been told of Turkey doors. Metal Doors etc. I really only want a simple/minimalist design (without too much patterns) door that is strong and secured. I want this door for both front/back doors and the kitchen exit.

What about bullet proof doors? is there any benefit to this at all?

INTERNAL Doors: I hear there is MDF or HDF which can be used for internal doors.

Also, does anyone have advise on which kind of door is good for bathrooms? I hear PVC doors are good.

The person in charge of my building says he uses 6inch and 5 inch block for one storey building, while all the people i know use 9inch and 6inch respectively...now he is saying i dont trust him with the qork, he has built many one story buildings using 6 and 5 inches...I am just exhausted...what do you think?

They're all confusing because I heard there are a lot fake in the market now. Are Copper doors really bullet proof? Please when is ideal time to put the HDF door. Before tiles or after.

The Person that produced the Door didn't use a treated plywood that Comes between the 2 Boards. This sometimes attracts insects like Termites.

So its Best to use foreign ¾ faceless plywood for the separation. Rather than the Nigeria type. Or better still spray anti termite to treat to avoid termites.

The HDF doors i installed like 3 years ago has started to produce powder like substances under the door, like it is being eaten from inside. Does this mean it is not HDF or treated properly?

HDF Door still remains the Best in all the Options stated.

China doors are no longer strong.

As Long as the Door Maker can assure you of using HDF Boards and quality keys and installation.. you are good to Go then

Someone using a metal door, can give a uniform allowance of either 2½ inches or more to allow the Tiler take level for the tiles and cement mix,

This method works for any door type. But you need a good tiler to help out becauseoat do shitty jobs

You are talking from the perspective of wooden doors. For someone using iron doors, it is better to install the doors first before tiles. This is more so because the subframe and the door of metal doors do not come separately.

From Experience, I will advice Tilling first before installing doors but the Subframes should have be installed.

Some Tilers will want to take a Uniform Level and this will affect the doors because they might be of different level.

To save yourself stress, additional cost and also who is doing the door stress also.

Go for Hardwood Entrance door which can be modified to your request. Either to tamper it More to enable it stand Bullet etc.
