I have received Passport Request on Monday. I have also submitted.
LMIA-Exempt Work Permit Application submitted online in April 2016, Medical call in October. Passport Request in November. I hope this can help everyone figure out how long to wait.
I think the CIC are really flooded with applications. They are working really hard. Patience is the way to go. Just be patient. Thank you all and I wish you goodluck.

Before, there was a visa called working visa but I dnt know abt the visa now, so as at now, I dnt know any visa called factory work visa.

You can get working permit ONLY when you already have visa here.

Beware of agents and their lies, many people asked me this question but did not take my advice till they end up spending like 300k on agent before realizing the truth.

Can I get a working permit if I should come to SK with a business visa?

good day great people.

Please am trying to gather together my documents for summer application for language programs in kyungpook national University.and these are there requirements..

1. Completed Application Form for Korean Language Course
Download
2. Study Plan (written in Korean or English) Download
3. A Copy of a passport and Alien Registration Card (if you have)
4. Bank Statement showing at least USD9,000.00
5. 3 passport photos (3.5 x 4.5cm, white background)
6. Apostille/Legalization-Academic certificate and Transcript of final degree from current school
7. Parents’ Certificate of Employment/Tax payment
8. A Copy of Full Birth Certificate
9. Certificate of tuberculosis including a chest X-ray from designated hospitals(Those applicants from high risk countries of tuberculosis)
10. Proof of current employment and career (those applicable)
11. Certificate showing your Korean skills(those applicable)

my question is first of all,where and how do I apostile/legalize my high school transcripts.
Also I was asked to notorize all documents where can this be done
Secondly:how do I go about number 7 since my mum(my sponsor is into importation)
I believe No9 and 10 has nothing to do with me.
finally Does the embassy confirm how genuine a bank statement is when submitted? thanks y"all

Therefore, please do all us a favour Dr Twood, when someone asks for an advice on this thread and you don't have any to offer, can you please just move on instead of giving your unsolicited, sanctimonious judgement which only amounts to trolling. It is not too difficult to do, I believe in you, you can do this, I know you can.

Please house i have a concern, my program start date according to the i20 sent is 10th of January 2018 but i was only able to book my interview for 12th of january at the embassy, i hope this doesnt affect the approval of my Visa.

good day my people.I started filling my Ds160 and left it half way to schedule an appointment with the application ID..now I tried going back to my ds160 Its saying my 1st five letters of my surname and year of birth doesn't match with my ds160 I'd.
and I've already used this application I'd to schedule an appointment please how do I make this work out?please help me..what do I do?

I was at the embassy for an interview in Lagos and I was denied..I shared my transcript here tho.
But then I went with a community college.
Now am going with university of Indianapolis.my question is when asked why I changed from Houston community college to university of Indianapolis what should be the best response.thanks for ya response in anticipation.

when applying to a small , expensive private Institution, and the VO asks why this school, please don't give the crap about One Prof and research gbogbonise. Give very sane responses that would justify the thousands of dollars you want to shell out for a degree. Possible responses could include.
1. The alumni Network - you could stress some simple stats such as " 90% of alumni at xyz are consultants in the big 4 and I am hoping to benefit from this rich network in accelerating my career"
2. specialisations - several small schools have specialisations which cannot really be found anywhere and you can give response such as " the consumer behaviour stochastic modelling study at xyz which is one of kind offers new possibilities which I most definitely want to exploit"
3. Financial Aid- If you get any form of aid from the school wether merit based or otherwise, that is enough reason to pick a school as money no dey grow untop tree.
4. location and other miscellaneous factors - A college in Wyoming would be best suited for a prospective geophysical or geological student... Iowa will be best for them Agricultural Folks, and Louisiana, if youre yammering on the shale boys for oil.[/quote]

i know two men on friday who haven't paid their Sevis fee,they don't even know what it is..
but their visa was approved..what the Vo now told them was that they shld go bk with their passport,after they must have paid and it reflects on their system,then they should mail bk their passport to the embassy...So that they can be issued bk their passport with visa stamp in it.
they were given a pink paper..

My main motive of studying in USA is to get to the know of ways to reduce cyber crime,by catching cyber phishers so i got into a conversation with this prof in departmnt(Computer science-Cyber secuirity)
he promised he"ll pay keen attention to.this made me choose this school Which after my associate degree i"ll transfer to University of houston for my Barchelors.
