According to reports, this is the afro beat singer's fourth Grammy Award nomination in a period of 10 years.
Femi is nominated alongside French group Gipsy Kings, South Africa's Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Indian musician Ravi Shankar.

Hello All, Please i need a favor from you all... My brother applied for Irish visa to attend a conference on the 31st of this month, the application has been made since july28 and the result came in today which is exactly a month after application.. They asked him to appeal the decision. I want to know if it is necessary since the conference itself is billed to start in the next 4 days.. Or can he just appeal and will the visa be issued afterwards considering the fact that the conference would have been concluded by the time the appeal result will be out. I need your inputs please..

Yeah, i'm giving you guys my expo (since i may not face a VO till maybe June/July..lol) coz it might help some people. I've observed that a very good answer to even just one of the questions might be enough in some cases to secure your visa. Then don't forget God.

When i applied for undergrad visa for spring 2008, i was denied. Why? I wasnt well packaged (had finished high school in 2k4, was already in 200-300level, but strike too much e.t.c), plus i was freaking nervous & very COLD which seriously affected my confidence. I've never been a stranger to AC all my life but mehn, that day the embassy was just toooooo COOOLD. Even the VO interviewing me, his face was almost white.lol. Maybe the cooling system had a problem that day, or a VIP from Alaska was present, but I know that next time i set forth to the embassy for a visa interview, i will be wearing 3 layers of clothing + blazer (making 4). Hi all, i just finished my Bsc and will like to continue my Masters in Australia but I had previously been refused Australian visa for a conference earlier this year, now my question is will i be granted the student visa if i apply again for a student visa after being denied the previous time. The basis of the denial was because the agent used some documents which were found to be misleading. Please i need your help here because i am considering my options at the moment. Thanks.
