Health › Re: What Medical Condition Could Cause This Deep On The Leg? Graphics by dapadawee(m): 1:14pm On Oct 23 |
ShenTeh: AI Overview
The image shows a close-up of a human foot with painted red toenails, where a thumb is pressing into the top of the foot and leaving a visible indentation or mark (pitting edema).
What the Mark Means
When pressing a finger or thumb into swollen tissue leaves an indentation that stays for a few moments, it is known as pitting edema. This happens when excess fluid builds up in the body's tissues, often due to fluid retention or circulation issues.
Potential Possibilities (Differential Diagnosis)
Pitting edema in the feet or lower legs can be consistent with several conditions, including: • Venous insufficiency (poor blood flow in the leg veins) • Hypertension or heart-related fluid retention • Kidney or liver disease affecting fluid balance • Long periods of standing or sitting, pregnancy, or side effects from certain medications
General Treatment Options
Managing foot swelling typically depends on the underlying cause and may include: • Elevation of the legs above heart level to reduce fluid buildup • Compression stockings to improve circulation and prevent fluid pooling • Lifestyle or dietary adjustments, such as lowering salt intake • Medical evaluation for underlying conditions, which may occasionally involve diuretic medications prescribed by a doctor Doctor AI that is a pregnant woman's leg sefinin |

blamingthedevil: STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES SENATOR RABIU KWANKWASO AT 70
My warm congratulations to my friend Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Governor of Kano State, one-time Minister of Defence and former Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District, on his 70th birthday on October 21, 2026. Senator Kwankwaso and I have had a longstanding association, dating back to our time in the National Assembly in 1992, he in the House of Representatives and I in the Senate, and later in 1999 when we both emerged as governors of our respective states. As members of the Class of '99 Governors, we both played pivotal roles in laying the foundation for the democracy the nation enjoys today. Shaped by different political choices, our political paths differed until we coalesced in 2013 to form the All Progressives Congress. Since then, history and service have kept us intertwined. I must acknowledge Senator Kwankwaso's immense contributions to Kano State and Nigeria as a two-term Governor, former Minister of Defence, former Senator, former presidential candidate, and now a presidential running mate. Senator Kwankwaso remains an influential figure and a progressive politician. That we are in different political parties and competing on different platforms in the January 2027 election will not remove my affection for Senator Kwankwaso. As the former governor marks this milestone, I wish him good health, personal fulfilment, and many more years of engagement in the nation's democratic process. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria October 21, 2026 The demotion was a knock out KO instead of OK. From a presidential candidate to a " and now a running mate" The black out was " I wish him a personal fulfilment" and not a collective one. Tinubu na badman |

muhmeen: The video, shared by user D3VID, shows a yellow korope bus pulling out abruptly as the private Toyota approaches near a bus stop, with a keke tricycle also colliding in the three-second chaos.
Opinions split sharply: some blame the commercial driver's reckless maneuver without checking traffic, while others say the Toyota should have braked sooner in the busy zone despite having right of way.
The debate highlights Nigeria's road safety woes, where speeding and poor habits fuel deadly accidents, prompting calls for defensive driving and better enforcement.

whizzler: It looks inhumane but in reality it's not. It's only a demonstration of faith that God is the ultimate. If God says the man will die even all doctors being around and putting their expertise to bear will not change the outcome. Same with if God says he will survive, no amount of neglect can kill him. Refer the story of Christa Pike , the lady on death row in the state of Tennessee who was on 30th September given lethal injection twice and yet she didn't die. That's the problem at least try. You are praying to whom you can't see and who you can see is dying yet you did nothing. Religion is humanity first am not saying all of them should stand up at least one of them should have. See where the foolishness of the religion lies, if they fart or mess they will stand up but someone was dying they refuse to stand up. Same way a girl in Australia sat in the middle of express to pray to a god in a black in mecca |

Christianity Etc › Re: Armed Robbers Invaded The Lord's Chosen In SA shot a chosen pastor And Failed by dapadawee(m): 12:13pm On Oct 18 |
peteregwu: I´m a Chosen, who are you? The God of Chosen is always making a name for Himself even in faraway Johannesburg, South Africa.
During our Sunday service, the God of Chosen revealed His incredible power, showing Himself to be the undeniable Protector of His people. What could have turned into a tragic event transformed into a powerful testimony of divine preservation, leaving everyone in awe of God's mighty hand.
On that unforgettable Sunday morning, around 8:00 a.m., the brethren arrived at the church to find our branch pastor already inside, preparing the space for the service. As we walked in, we were greeted by a rather unusual and unsettling sight: birds had left droppings on several chairs and near the altar. It felt strange, so we joined the pastor in cleaning and arranging the chairs to get the sanctuary ready for worship.
Not long after, a sister entered the church and started opening the windows. She suddenly caught a whiff of a very unpleasant and odd smell. Concerned, she peered outside and spotted a man wandering onto the church grounds. She called out to him, asking what he was looking for. The man replied in Zulu that he was just checking out the cars. It later became clear that he was allegedly part of a gang that had come earlier to scout the church. The Sunday service began, and at around 10:13 a.m., our branch pastor started introducing the message. But just ten to fifteen minutes later, armed r0bbers burst into the church, plunging the atmosphere into fear and chaos.
The attackers began firing at the pastor at the altar. In the midst of this terrifying ordeal, the brethren raised their voices, declaring with unwavering faith, “I AM A CHOSEN!” They called upon the name of the Lord, trusting in His power and protection.
According to the account of the incident, as the pastor and the brethren repeatedly proclaimed, “I am a Chosen ,” the armed r0bber who are you, the r0bber kept shooting at him, yet the bullets reportedly failed to penetrate his body.
As the shocking incident unfolded, the attackers unleashed a barrage of bullets at the Branch Pastor, but to everyone’s astonishment, none of the bullets managed to pierce his body. They also fired at another brother, yet he emerged unscathed as well. Realizing their assault had failed, the criminals panicked and tried to escape.
The brethren quickly sprang into action, chasing after them. During the pursuit, one of the suspects tossed a gun into a nearby bush, hoping to hide it. As the attackers made a dash for the bus they had arrived in, the brethren, along with some neighbors, managed to catch one of them. They then searched the bush and successfully retrieved the discarded gun.
Not long after, four police officers arrived on the scene, including a female officer. They explained that they couldn’t start taking statements until they confirmed the Branch Pastor’s condition, as he had already been rushed to the hospital for treatment and medication.
To everyone’s relief and surprise, the Branch Pastor returned to the church about an hour later. The police then approached him to take his statement. They also entered the church, where they found bullet casings and other evidence of the shooting scattered around. The officers then went to where the captured suspect was being held, handcuffed him, and placed him in a police van as the investigation continued.
Meanwhile, a large crowd of neighbors and passers-by had gathered, many visibly shocked by the events. Some openly expressed their disbelief, saying they had never seen anything like it before. They were left wondering how more than six bullets could be fired at someone without causing any harm.
In awe, some of the onlookers shared their belief that this was a clear demonstration of God’s mighty power. They expressed their conviction that the church truly serves the living God.

nairalanda1: So, I am watching the viewo...let's see
So, I have watched the video....and I can say that the so called nurse is lying
1. It is very likely that the woman had one kidney before hand. There is a congential disorder where patients have one kidney.
2. The surgical proccedure to remove a kidney is different from the surgical proccedure for a caesarean.
3. If you notice, the nurse (if she is one) does not tell us if the woman did a scan before she had her baby, or did antenatal, or did prenatal scans. That's the only way to prove that there were two kidneys pre-moterm
4. No information about the woman's sickness or what type of sickness she had post op is given.
In conclusion, na tales by moonlight.
Kidneys can be removed intraop during cs...due to the following
Also, removing a woman's kidney requires specialised hospital systems and care...which is why the woman did not tell us the name of the hospital.
When people lie for the gram... You are right to some point but antenatal scan cannot detect kidney condition. Quack doctor |

Sheriff's son is an example of a REAL future leader of tomorrow. In fact, the children you see sweeping water in the video above will eventually grow and collect bag of rice and carton of indomie from him in future.
You don't believe me? Time will tell. Then you don't know the ways of God You could have made a good point only if you were mature enough. Those children will be great in Jesus name.
