Foreign Affairs › Re: Military Expert Says Trump Is In A Panic Mode, Iran War Is Not Going As Expected by dappydozzy(m): 9:15pm On Mar 22 |
fineboynl: Panic shouldnt be the word to use. You guys should chill
There is 200billion military budget for this war. Which is still awaiting approval. That would be a game changer.
Trump is just trying to see if Iran will have common sense. So they can negotiate. But if Iran still misbehaving.
Congress would have no choice than to approve it. And it will come at a great cost to Iran. They will loose a big swapped of land and the khang island if I am not mistaking.
Japan did more than this. Based on the cost of this war to the US as analysed, that $200 billion will last just 10 days, US wage costly wars, they will still have to go back to congress, to approve another supplementary budget, it makes no difference. The US shouldn't even think about taking over Kharg Island, it is suicidal for the global economy. Japan was the aggressor then in World war 11, but who is the aggressor now ? There is no basis for comparison between Iran and Japan. |

Karlman: Show me one picture of civilian bombing in Iran
Don't worry, Jews ain't Christians, they will exact their pounds of flesh in hundred measures There are no civilian bombings in Iran yet over 1000 people killed including schoolgirls, so will you tell me that over 1000 deaths are military casualties. The bombing of civilians is not even the issue they violate international laws by bombing UN humanitarian agencies, the Red Cross and Red Crescent, it behaves like a pariah state. It always violates the Geneva convention on the rules of engagement in war.:This current regime in Tel Aviv are just genocidal warmongers, horrible crimes in Gaza, killing women and children. |

The solution is for iran to forget about any nuclear program and embrace The world is ruled by might not mouth sad but thats the truth Iran cannot surrender like that, this is a war of aggression. Iran never ask for this war, it was forced on it and it was a gross miscalculation. In this war, Iran has nothing to loose, in fact the Gulf allies and the US has more to loose in this war than Iran, If the gulf allies start bombing Iran, who will they bomb?, anything left to bomb? Or they will start to bomb civilians, the gulf states will review their security alliance with the US, and determine whether that alliance has really protected them during this conflict. |

Basicend: Wao, the total is not even up to $1 billion.
That's not really a gross impact in terms financial cost to the US if that figure is true.
Trump's major aim is to obliterate Iran's missile / drone development capacity and programme.
Iran developed several fragmented under-ground missile cities and launchers. Once the US is clear that a good number of those bunkers have been blown up, US will evacuate Iran. You are talking as if you are a member of the US marines, na so he easy to evacuate Iran. Hollywood don do you shege. Keep dreaming. |

dermmy: The war has shown that Iran does not need nuclear weapons to deal with US and Israel. Iran, a non-nuclear state battling two nuclear states and still standing. Actually, Iran does not need nuclear weapons, they have great scientists, they have mastered a lot of technologies, Isreal can still be dealt with without nuclear weapons, they should try and build their airforce, maintaining their decentralized mosaic defense strategy and master assymetric warfare. War is not just about bombardment, but the strategy to fight to it to point of victory, i.e having a definite endgame. |

Just imagine if Iran could fly fighter jets 5000 times in 20days over Israel
Have some shame please And be thankful to Trump for being around to always stopping Israel from crippling whatever has the name Iran on it. And you think Isreal will be given free reins to do whatever it likes, especially when Iran is not Gaza and has the ability to fight back and cause havoc in the region. I thought they said these Gulf states have air defence systems, why was Iran able to strike the gas plants, and refineries in Saudi, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. And yet Uncle Donald said their military capabilities have being degraded. i still dont understand these Americans, even this Strait of Hormuz, majority dont understand it, Iran has the ability to disrupt that Strait of Hormuz without closing it. Escorting ships and oil tankers through Strait of Hormuz is suicidal. Even with this ranting from Trump, their aircraft carriers and its battle groups are no where within Iranian waters. They are not hypocritical about it and nor are they two faced or do the opposite behind the scenes. Like some countries like US and France that can say one thing and do the opposite behind the scenes.
Where they will frustrate you though is through their financial institutions and returning stolen loots by especially African leaders like the abacha loot.
Overall though seems to be a balanced country in keeping the peace and avoiding wars.

Imagine how irrational they're behaving without nuclear weapons, now imagine what it'll be like if they attain nuclear capacity. Innocent countries are being attacked for no reason. All the while Iran has been funding and training ISIS, Hezbollah and other terrorist organisations to attack other countries like Nigeria, nothing happened. Foreign Affairs › Re: Strait Of Hormuz: Six US Allies Back Plans To Secure Passage Of Oil Vessels by dappydozzy(m): 7:07pm On Mar 19 |
Authority1o1: I'll be right back with the required number of words.
When Trump began seeking alliance to reopen the Strait, Iranians (including the Nigerian Chapter) mocked him for it, suggesting that America was less too powerful to see it reopened.
But what many failed to undertake is that the US will not do for others what others ought to do, or at least help do. America will not have these countries sit back and watch as if they too are unaffected by the closure while the US alone fights for something that affects global economy. Never.
America is a leader, it leads the way for others to follow, or act, or strike. Which is why if Iranians fail to take back their country, the US will leave them to it. It is a lie, if the US has its way it will invade Iran, to effect regime change but they are weighing options and risks, and they may still invade if they see that there is no uprising. The Americans are hypocrites. You cant come to Nairaland and tell us who the Americans are? We know who they really are . |

Dunamai86: The EU is now nothing but a toothless dog. This explains why Trump has been playing the tariff card. They are bunch of opportunistic parasites that have nothing to offer hiding under NATO. They had to be forced to increase Thier defence budget and for decades investing nothing into NATO defence. They kept pushing Ukraine to the edge but would never put a soldier on the ground or allow Ukraine to use any of the so called crap they called weapons given to Ukraine to hurt Russia seriously. They are inadvertently playing into Putin's Trap. China is already winning them economically too. Time will tell These European leaders know what they are doing, an armada of warships in the Middle East sent by a lot of European nations will send a wrong message. Also, NATO was built on mutual respect, and was not built to help aggressor nations, NATO was not carried along in this war, and you dont expect them to come to your aid especially when you talk to leaders of allied nations like your students. So those leaders even if they will help they will allow you to be disgraced before coming to help. If US like they should disband NATO, then the fall of the American empire will be even faster than we expect . Trump can be so stupid and arrogant and Senility is catching up, that is why he sometimes behave like a clown . |

Donald Trump wont be US President for life, he may not even complete his Presidency if the war drag for too long, which will lead to losing the Mid term elections. |

Galactics: Just firing missiles aimlessly without target. Is this all what Iran can offer? Israel has been killing their top generals and commanders , but this Iran is firing missiles in the midst of the masses. The reason being America and Isreal uses shock and awe war strategy which believes in decapitation strikes, but Iran uses the decentralized mosaic defense strategy which allows a military to continue to fight on, despite decapitation strikes and destruction of central command and control structures. War is about inflicting pain and damage including frustration on the aggresors. And the oppressors here are Isreal and America . |
