A South Africa-based Zimbabwean woman was said to have committed suicide after she was supposedly caught cheating on her husband with his colleague.

TopNaija gathered that the lady, identified as Mai Aisha was recorded being pants down with her husband's coworker. Mai with her sexual partner faced confrontation from her husband, identified as Baba Aisha with his fellow friends after they were both caught in the act.

Narrating the event on how it happened, Baba Aisha stated that he got a tip-off while his wife tried to justify the colleague, Madzibaba’s presence by claiming he was there to fix a light.

Tragically, Mai Aisha tragically ended her life the day after the confrontation. In a heart-wrenching account, Baba Aisha opened up about confronting his wife and discussing her infidelity, ultimately agreeing that she should go back to her family's home.

After making all the necessary arrangements, he provided her with a bus ticket, expecting her to depart. However, upon returning from work, he was devastated to discover her lifeless body.

Baba Aisha recounted the incident, stating that an empty bottle of poison was seen next to her lifeless body along with a note.

He said;

“I assaulted her when I caught her with my friend. We talked about her cheating and agreed that she goes back kumba kwavo. I then booked her a bus ticket but found her dead when I came back from work. I saw an empty bottle and a note by her side saying she (swallowed) the poison, I don’t know where to start now.”

A Nigerian lady has narrated how she had lost her job in the United Kingdom for telling her boss 'sorry'.

Taking to her social media handle. the lady, @deeglam_varieties, she tried to explain what happened.

According to her, Nigerians traveling overseas should strive to do away with their attitude of saying sorry at home.

@deeglam_varieties said that she worked a night shift and spent her time in the office lounge pressing her phone to avoid falling asleep.

The following day, her employer accused her of sleeping on the job, which surprised her. Instead of telling her supervisor the truth, @deeglam_varieties repeatedly apologized and went home.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has threatened to take court action against Tinubu if he doesn't ensure the release of FirstNews editor, Segun Olatunji.

A 47-year-old pastor of a Victorville church has been apprehended after he was accused of hiring hitmen to gun down his daughter's partner.

The Pastor, identified as Samuel Pasillas was said to have paid almost $40,000 to have his daughter's lover to be killed.

As confirmed by the Riverside Police Department, the supposed pastor gave out all the information about the daughter's suitor, including his whereabouts on the day the job would be carried out, which was October 2023.

TopNaija gathered that the victim was hit by a lot of bullets from the hitmen in Riverside in a drive-by on Oct. 21, 2023. Fortunately, he survived the near-death experience after driving himself to a nearby hospital.

Investigators say they later determined that the would-be killers had been hired by his girlfriend's father, Pasillas, who never agreed to their union in the first place.

The men allegedly conducted surveillance on the victim for weeks leading up to the shooting, and Pasillas also allegedly provided them details on their target's whereabouts.

"He actually provided information to these suspects that he hired," said Riverside Police Officer Ryan Railsback. "He paid them almost $40,000."

The two men then drove up to the victim, who was in his own car on Grove Community Drive in Riverside and opened fire, wounding him.

Last week, Riverside police arrested Pasillas and one of the alleged hit men, Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, of Long Beach.

In a video shared on social media, the Seasoned Nollywood actor told the story of how his phone froze for some seconds after he received an enormous amount from the skit maker when they made a shot together.

Praising and appreciating Sabinus, he narrated the story of how he was treated like a prince during their most recent collaboration in Rivers State.

Two supposed lovers, identified as Imaobong Sampson, and Beltus Ebong have been apprehended after staging their own kidnap.

The family of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, has criticized the petition filed against Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, by the singer's late wife.

During a routine visit to the State Criminal Investigation Department on Tuesday, Primeboy, a trusted associate of Mohbad, was questioned. Ayobami Fisayo, also known as Spending, was also present for the interrogation.

Since the investigation into Mohbad's death began, the duo has been directed to regularly visit the police station.

The EFCC is pursuing a nine-count money laundering case against former Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano.

The agency presented evidence to support the charges and opposed Obiano's attempt to dismiss the case. The EFCC argued that the evidence establishes a strong case for the trial to proceed.

Obiano, however, claimed that the Anambra state government denied missing funds and took the matter to the Court of Appeal. However, the EFCC countered that the state government is not a defendant in the case and cannot challenge the proceedings.
The court has adjourned the case until April 18 for a ruling.
