Thank you for having your eyes on this post. However, lets talk about Nigerian movies.... I am proudly Nigerian but really this need to be addressed. i do not think that i am the only one with the view of scenes shown before the next script act while watching home videos. Now i can sense many scenes going through minds as i write, let me cut the long story short.... More often while watching Nigerian movies, a particular High way or a building at interval is shown, sometimes it is the sky etc . Then i ask myself a question "Y" because i just don't know the nexus of it. The directors and or production crew of Movies in Nigeria really need to step up in movie making. Its not all about producing a movie for the sake of money making. I cant remember watching foreign movies with such displays before the next act displays maybe someone inclinde in movies making can explain better cos i just don't dig it. thank you.

Please dear nairalanders.... This is a serious issue that involves the POLICE as I speak/type.. My close pal's BROTHER IS GOING TO JAIL FOR A CAR HE KNOWS NOTHING OF....

he is a mechanic(repairer of cars and all its parts) he is well known by every body in his location and is very good at doing his work and his customers loved him for his sincerity.

On a very good afternoon he was approached by a customer who wants to REPAIR HIS CAR..after all negotiation and bargaining.... He agreed to the price and gave the CAR KEYS to the man(the mechanic)... To test drive the car after everything.... And so he left the mechanic shop.

It wasn't up to 25mins, he was approached by POLICE and another owner of the same car that was dropped at his shop 25mins ago.... And the police men arrested the mechanic Guy saying he is a criminal that he stole the car from the owner in BENIN CITY, that the owner of the car packed the car inside his compound and all of a sudden the car was no where to be found. That they have been looking for the car for almost TWO WEEKS now that they got information from sombody that's how they got to know that the car is packed in his (mechanic guys) shop..

The mechanic guy is in police custody as we speak... And he kept calling the guy that brought the car to his shop and guy kept telling him he is not in town that he will be back in some hours hours time... It has been like that for almost 5days now... The man refuses showing up for his self acclaimed car.

Now they are planning on transferring the case from warri to BENIN tomorrow or next.... But they gave the mechanic guy some conditions if he want the case to be sealed..

The police men and the owner of the stolen car has told the mechanic guy to pay up #300,000 for the case to die down and for the replacement of some properties that are not inside the car at this moment.

Now... We beginingto suspect that this whole thing is a planned work and a SETUP Plan against the mechanic guy... Cos if you look at it very well you would notice that a stolen car from Benin to warri can not be tracked down immediately after the person who stole the car dropped it inside a mechanic shop and all of a sudden the owner of the so called car shows up from no where all the way from Benin? With the police?? How is that possible? I don't understand... It must be a set up...

DDEAR NAIRALANDERS... We planning on hiring a a lawyer and maybe take this issue to the court tomorrow... PLEASE WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR US AT THIS MOMENT? SHOULD WE OR SHOULD WE NOT INVOVETHE LAWYER? what other steps do you think we can take against this case?...

1) Mind your tongue

The best way to control anger is to stay conscious even in angry situations. Be very particular about what you say, as your words might just hurt your partner. The key to maintain happy relationships, even in stressful situations, is to master your tongue and never let those words spill out of your mouth.

2)Scribble it

Penning down your anger into words is a unique way to control it. Just vent it out on a piece of paper, instead of shouting at your spouse. Even if your partner instigates you to fight, just avoid talking to him/her. Another way to avoid the clash is to just get busy with something else, until you calm down. Never be in the same room, else you will pick up fights. Once you are done with the writing part, tear the paper off.

3)Be the calmer one

‘Two swords cannot fit into one sheath.’ This saying is befitting for couples who are short-tempered and fight a lot. If your partner is short-tempered, you should be the one to calm him/her down. An eye for an eye can never be the solution to a fight, instead it worsens it. Do not retaliate when the other person is angry. A little sacrifice on the part of your ego can contribute a lot in pacifying your partner. Make sure you keep your tone low and do not point fingers at each other. Yelling and shouting will do no good to your relationship.

4)Explain your anger

Women often keep mum after they get upset with their partners. It is a wrong practice to stay quiet as this builds up your anger, making your bond go weak. Women should never presume that their partner will understand what is wrong. It is nearly impossible for another person to truely know what you are going through. So, it will be great if you ask for what your partner feels.

5)Accept your mistake

Accepting your mistakes makes you a much respected person. In no way it suggests that you are weaker than your companion. So, owning up to your faults bridges the gap between you and your partner. Apologising early can save a lot of unnecessary conflict!
Once his or her mood is back to normal, sit with your beloved and communicate your feelings. A sensible dialogue after every arguement can keep both of you happy forever!

My question is why do you have to stay with her pendingwhen your travel papers are ready? To my mind, I don't think its a condition to cage you into some sort of .......dunno. However,discuss with the person and get your thinking cap on to make a decision. All the best.
