back from SA and will have to wait till my visa expires before i go to the SAFA embassy to collect my repatriation deposit right? hope they wont take long in refunding it?

is it auto or manual and is this car still available?

collinsfbi: That is the most frustrating process I have ever seen. After you return to your home country where you applied and paid repatriation, you must wait till your visa expires or you write a letter of cancellation of visa if you are still in possession of a valid SA visa/permit. Go to SA embassy and lay claim with the following documents; original repatriation receipt, your passport, letter of acct details from your bank (though some embassies pay by issuing cheque but I don't know about Nigeria). Besides, there is no specific waiting time in getting pay back as you can be made to wait up to a year. The waiting time is at the discretion of SA Home Affairs and that is one thing I hate most about South African Visa/permit because people who request pay back for repatriation don't get their money back in time and with ease.

i already paid the repatriation fee yesterday, 110k..i am still waiting for them to call me or text me to come pick up my visa ooh

surdik: i just got my 3month multiple visitors visa from the south African embassy. i submitted my application on the 9th of Nov, and i was called on mon 26th Nov to pay repatriation fee on or b4 wed 28 Nov whc i did. And i received a notification for collection on the 30th of Nov. A very big thank you to COLLINSFBI and JUSTWISE for their invaluable contributions here.
And to those aspiring for a southafrican visa please adhere strictly to the advise of these 2 great men. YOU DONT NEED AN AGENT TO GET SOUTH AFRICAN VISA. Thanks.

collinsfbi: After payment you will be given a copy of bank teller but the receipt for the 110k repatriation fee will be issued to you sealed with your visa. Make sure you keep the receipt safe, without the original receipt it will be hard to claim your money when you return.

collinsfbi: You can only get your money back when you return after which your visa expires or if you cannot wait till your visa expires then you will have to write to the embassy for cancelation of your visa before you can get your money back.

thanks collins,of course im coming back, im spending 2weeks or 1month in SAFA, i will go and pay tomorrow,i hope to leave for SA before 20th of this Month and come back either 19th or 20th of Jan

Hello house, i just got a call from safa embassy today to come and pay repatriation fee btw now till weds or else they will deny my the visa, i will be going there tomorrow to make the payment of 110,000 .. hope when i come back from SAFA sha they wont delay in returning the money back to me?

surdik: i submitted my application on the 9th of November and i was called on the 26th of November by the embassy to go and pay the repatriation fee whc will expire two dayz after. As regard your case, i think maybe you should contact the embassy. Did you receive a text message the day you submitted?

yes i received text on the day i submitted, just that i am suppose to travel to SA on 14th of Dec, I just feel its a ploy to deny applicant visa

Your application is received and under assessment at "The South Africa High Commission,Lagos"

today is the 3week now i submitted at the SAFA embassy,still no answer, someone was suggesting i go to the vfs center to check maybe they sent me a text regarding paying for the repatriation fee,dat at times some applicants don't receive the text, i need to make another plans for the DEC cos i normally travel during the holiday,

collinsfbi: Brother take it easy, don't conclude yet base on my comment, i have told you before that i don't work with SA embassy, i only give advice generally base on experience and what i know. From experience SA embassy usually honour paid hotel confirmation rather than ordinary reservation, even at that you cannot conclude until your passport is ready for collection.

thanks bro,i would wait till i see whatever happens..i shall let the house know as soon as i get my passport back....but seriously why pay for an hotel when you havent gotten the visa,its like buying flight ticket when you dont have a visa...well i will see whatever the embassy thinks

collinsfbi: I may not be right but there are tendencies that you may be denied. That may be used as an excuse to deny you, using ordinary hotel reservation without payment may lead to automatic denial. It simple means you have no confirmed place of abode upon arrival.

well they can go to hell then if they deny me, i booked it myself and i paid with my credit card but the hotel said they wont charge until i arrive but if i dont cancel before the first night they will charge my card,when i call them they have my details on there system.. i have done this when i went to UK many times and i always stay in the hotel, well i also included my CAC documents,Shares and Landed Properties,and my bank account i have over 800k on it, they should just even return my passport and documents,i have submitted over 3 weeks now no response from them..

i did not pay for the hotel o, i booked online and i gave them my credit card but they did not deduct the money until i arrive before they will do, they just hold on too my card details, you think the embassy will deny me because of this?

i dont know why i haven't receive an sms alert from the VFS centre, i submitted over 2 weeks now for a visitors visa to SAFA, i thought they said its btw 6 to 10 working days, mine application is over 2 weeks now

thanks alot for your response and help, i intend submitting next week Thursday, i already booked the hotel reservation for me and my GF,also printed my account statement that i run and current balance on it is around 800k? hope that would be enough for me and her? also i run my own company,which im including all CAC documents and also my investment,also can i include my daughter birth certificate?
