Hello, I've been perusing your thread and I must confess am captivated by the intricacies of your designs and the quality of your renderings. From a fellow designer and architectural 3D illustrator, I must say your renderings rock, they evoke well crafted details and maturity. But I'ld like to know what package you use for your recent renderings cos I know you use Artlantis s/r for your past works based on the quality. More inputs to the faculty and more bucks to the pocket .

Update

Casting of foundation/ pad foundation footing √

The good thing about the site is that the soil beneath the surface is rather solid and firm...so we decided to excavate to the firm bedding and plant our pad foundation footing and erect the various columns.. This would help transfer the load from the super structure to soil as we intend to beam the entire foundatoin at dpc level and reinforce the entire floor area... So the foundation walls become non-load bearing walls and the super structure is carried by beams which transfers the load columns, footing and soil respectively ...

Good question. I was about to ask same question.

Mr. Darenyx, were you planning to do raft before you discovered the plot was waterlogged or you were planning to do strip foundation?


I sense the budget about to go up by 300%.

I'm quite familiar with the area... The client actually saw a project Im doing close to his plot and contacted me for his ..(attached are pics of the fence we did on the part of the plot that was waterlogged).

But for the particular project we are going for An alternative method for the foundation (strip foundatuin , pad footing and column base) the process would be uploaded as it unfold.

Most definitely... But it's a bungalow and a very tight budget.

Visited the site on Saturday and it was a very dry plot... But after the Sunday downpour I discovered that it a highly swampy plot, as runoff of all adjoining and surrounding site are channeled to the plot, since it's at the end of the close ...
