So many simps and weak men on this thread

You guys heard oneside of a story and before even waiting for official investigations to be concluded, you rush to crucify Mason Greenwood.

Remember that there are always two sides to a story. And these girls would do anything for a pay-out. Reminds me of Neymar saga.

I don't care about injuries. I'll wait for investigations to be concluded before passing verdict.

Also remember that the west is a gynocentric society and would support women irrespective of evidence

Can you explain our one shot on target.

How have we been playing better under Eguavoen.
Have we ever dominated plays.
Our midfield woes continues.
Have we seen a different tactics, divergent from what is seen of Rohr's later days.

Have you forgotten Rohr's early days?
Did you remember how cameroon was beaten 4:0 with their darling Vincent Abubakir heading the front line.

Why you have not questioned Eguavoen's tactics and choice of players baffles me.
Eguavoen has been wrong from day one.
He can learn from his paucity in ideas and understanding of players.
He can improve, but telling me we were better is a farce, just the new coach vibes.

Thank you

The only 2 Departments bewitching the SE are the AM & The Goal keeping.
Since Okocha hung his boots, we have been running helter-skelter.
Since Enyeama bid the NFF “premature” goodbye, things has never been the same.
These 2 factors contributed why we couldn’t pull a stunt against Tunisia.
Iwobi would have managed but the red card spoilt the show.

Iwobi should not even be in the SE

He hardly plays for his club. Hasn't seen action in a while vefore ADCON. Same with Chukwueze and it showed

Iwobi's inclusion in the team is because of his Uncle's influence. He doesn't deserve it.

And we can't manage expired products

Apparently Eguavoen is in Ikenne to watch Remo vs Rivers with the 2 most in-form goalkeepers in Victor Sochima and Kayode Bankole on show.
Hopefully this is the start to the end of Okoye and Uzoho monkey business.

I have said it and will say it again

Okoye will not start at watford. He will be 3rd choice on his best day. Who does he want to bench?

In fact, that AFCON mistake don dey make Watford owners piss for body.

If this is why Eguaveon is there, then very good. Okoye and Uzoho are birds of the same feather. It'll be nice if they are even eased out sef. Their entry into the National Team was undeserved

I'm really wondering... Part of the reason could be due to our goalkeeping coaching department... Maybe it's time for Alloy Agu to quit that role...

Arthur Okonkwo looks talented and to be honest much more talented than Uzoho and Okoye but he needs to play first team football not reserve league. Hopefully he goes on loan next season as Arsenal are getting a 2nd choice GK from MLS.

In the home front, I don't think Rohr was properly briefed on the goalkeeping potentials back in the league. Ezenwa at a point was 2nd choice for his club but top class for the Super Eagles. A top rated goalkeeper like Afelokai has been displaced by a young Sochima at Rivers Utd. That's the kind of potential we have in that position. What these guys truly need is exposure and proper conditioning.

Our Olympics and U20 teams have always had goalkeepers from home and they never failed us at any tournament with errors to the levels we have seen with Uzoho and Okoye.

Well said

We need to replace our GK trasiners

It's obvious they are not doing thir jobs

They are just colecting salary and egunje

It's their job to scout and recommend GKs to the Senior National Team

But no....sometimes it beats me why we can't just get rid of mediocre officials in all strata of the Nigerian Society

I can't agree less. Especially at the knockout stages, a goal keeper can make so much difference. Look at the Burkinabe goalie, yesterday. He helped Burkina Faso secure that lead.

But the only shot directed at Okoye all tournament, he couldn't save angry

My fear from the start was in that goal keeping department. That goal changed the entire complexity of the game. The 4:4 draw against Sierra Leone in Benin and the goal we conceded against Cape Verde away really exposed Okoye's weaknesses but I guess the goal keeper trainers were blinded.

Francis Uzoho would more likely have saved that shot.

He won't

They are all unreliable

We don't have a good goalie...not sinc Ikeme and Enyeama

They are the "indomitable Lions of CAMEROON". That is what they have been known for. They will not play good football for an entire tournament but they mostly get the job done. I see them like the Chelsea of African football grin

It is not just an issue of home advantage cos the previous 5 editions Cameroon won were not on home soil.

They know how to play tournaments especially in Africa. Like I had mentioned earlier, before the AFCON kicked off, as far as the AFCON is concerned I will always rate teams like Cameroon, Nigeria and Egypt ahead of likes of Senegal, Ivory Coast, Algeria and Morocco, irrespective of the form any of these four teams is in.

The only team we thought could have challenged Cameroon in this AFCON was Nigeria. But we screwed up big time against Tunisia.

Quit talking nonsense. Ghana team is in a mess? And your nigerian is better?

Yes, the Black Stars did not perform at afcon. But that is why we are taking measures to change things. We have identified what went wrong and we are taking measures to correct them. Is there anything wrong with that? Teams go through bad patches. It’s not peculiar to Ghana.

And you are talking as if Nigeria has such a fantastic team grin well, some of us don’t see the current nigerian team as been better than the Ghana team. That is my honest opinion. And the World Cup qualifier will prove that.

Bro, there's no need arguing with them
