[s]LMFaO! Its only on the internet that a kid calls his father's first son 'boy'. But still, its amusing.

One who doesn't know the difference between uncle and godfather is talking about teaching. Hmm, perish the thought. Lol.

So, I'm curious, what if I don't stop, what chu gonna do about it?[/s]

keep quiet & stop embarrassing yourself.
only an indocible pillock would refuse to accept that i purposely used "uncle" to address Sirius Black because "Uncle" is open to a universe of meaning. even the author of the book would not dismiss the usage of the word because of its figurative connotations & because it also means a male friend to the parents of a child(in your daft head you claim the author is British - so British writers don't make use of US idioms ("Uncle" that means a guider and adviser is not even a US definition but British)

are you really this möronic or is this what obtuse ignorance and adamance does to people? even after screenshots were posted you still refuse to LEARN.
even Ron referred to him in Goblet of Fire as "Harry's Uncle".

same way you could not take to corrections when someone was telling you the correct spelling of the word "Caspice".
the 21st century illiterate is not one who cannot read & write but one who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.

you're really dümb and unteachable, Mister & I have zero tolerance for such . .check, that's why i unfollowed you weeks ago. so get the message straight - stick to your ilk & quit bovvering me! I've tried to be civil with you so totter off!.

this dude still left this thread open and did not lock it despite the tension surrounding this contest. I also saw some vitriol in it that went unpunished.

I'm surefooted now that this fynestbôi fella is not fit to be a Moderator.

[s]LMFAO! Dude you are fucking_ hilarious! Really you are. It took me this much time to know this.

If you fail to know that in the context of which Harry Potter is concerned, that uncle doesn't mean godfather, then I'll say your ego is your kryptonite.

Dis guy funny sha. Uncle means godfather. This is a new one. [/s]

an ignorant fool doesn't usually know that he/she is an ignorant fool.

you're totally unteachable, boy. bask in your ignorance. but stop plaguing my mentions. you've been warned.

wink[s]I actually mentioned lanicky not team lanicky[/s]. Thanks for d clarification. You just shot
yourself in the leg.

Hit your sheets dude. Your brain is hot, you need a factory reset. Gnyt.

Common sense is indeed a rare commodity. if questions were forwarded to Lanicky then it's 100% guaranteed that the first set of people she would send it to or inform about it are members of her campaign team.

you lacks wits bro. . . I didn't shoot myself in the foot. what i did was lateral thinking.

you should be focused in groveling for votes for your candidate. all these tomfoolery are only gonna make you lose. expect no more replies, buddy!

I said most nigerian students, did I single out lanicky? I'm now starting to believe you just want to believe I harbor bias towards lanicky.
And if truly I did single out lanicky, and put her in the 'most', did she not prove that she doesn't have an inkling about how to write a cover letter?
I mark exam script for my friends who lecture in universities, I've seen and I know first hand what most nigerian students are capable of.

This is lame, the only answer I have to this point is: "there's time for everything".

When I was still an applicant bro, I was made to write a cover letter on the spot as part of my interview, even when asking for my bank statement, I still write formal letter. Like I said, anyone who is conversant with a cover letter, will know its format, the question said cover letter, not whatever was in the content.

[s]h clap for yourself, your so called 180 IQ couldn't tell you that Sirius Black wasn't Harry Potter's Uncle in J.K Rowlings novels.[/s]
Bloody Marvelous!.

how is Harry Potter related to anything? bollocks!

so you still don't wanna accept that the word "Uncle" means ''godfather'' as well? haven't you heard of stuffs like - '"Mr Richard has always been my "uncle Sam".
the same way someone was trying to correct you on the spelling of "Caspice" few days ago. learn to take to corrections, dude. it doesn't reduce you - it makes one grow.

Albert Einstein couldn't even determine his bus stop if he misplaced his bus ticket(use the internet & check his biography if you think this is cooked up). but that doesn't make him a möron. you are not making any sense, frater.

i won't bother addressing the rest of the post, it's bunkum. and this conversation is over!. bye!

you quoted me first dumbo so calm your tïtties.

and who do you wanna give it to back to back? please look for another jobless person like you that's willing to cross words withchu.

Nigeria's education system is really in ruins.

f'rinstance when Omotola Jolade is interviewed her answers are not marked or graded after the completion of the exercise neither does the interviewer question her answers or claim that her replies are wrong midway through the interview.

there's a difference betwixt an Interview and a Q & A session. damn niggas. . .damn!

LMFAO! I said most, not all bruv, now where is the fallacy there? If I had said all, then you could have accused me of making hasty generalizations

most not all? what made you conclude in just a span of a few heartbeats that LANICKY falls into the category of most? you have always been biased towards her & everyone knows that. . . . .it's not fair or mature.

joseph1832:

Please know what you speak of bruv.
If that candidate is very familiar with the format of a cover letter, he or she will do it within the time allotted for it. Plain and simple.
This is why I said my IQ is way higher than yours. Now chill till the next episode bruv. tongue

yeah, the candidate is suppose to upchuck a well laid-out cover letter whilst simultaneously concocting the CONTENT and is meant to accomplish that in a period of 15 minutes? what makes you think the candidate is not helping her mother in the kitchen at the same time? or that she isn't also preoccupied with some other offline affairs?
where's the logos in your argument?

it's not even as if she could foreshadow the questions or had a ready-made reply. the answers were thought of on the spot!!.
any thinking and considerate man/woman would know the CONTENT was the main thing required. what separates geniuses from ordinary people is that ordinary people are too petulant about tiny details that are irrelevant - the geniuses on the other hand tackle the most relevant task at hand(content) ignoring the irrelevant ones(cover letter format).

i tested 180 in the last online Stanford IQ test I took and wasn't even trying. this is no blustery. all I'm trying to say is you don't come close, brov.

Honestly speaking sir, I have no team.

smiley

All this is just borne out of hatred, even if this interview was handled by the organizers they will still read the same meaning to it. It's hard to make a good judgment about someone if you hate such person.

let's call a spade a spade and not some working tool!
all of these happened because Mïmzy couldn't make it & her team feels this is giving Lanicky the edge. you should have deleted inconsequential & petty comments. what has Cover letter & whatnot have to do with anything? they will try to twist it against you? can't you see the cofee on the wall? Jesus Christ!

this is not even the real Miss NL interview. they came here for the sole purpose of causing TROUBLE. sorry to say but you are at fault for not closing the thread as soon as the interview was over and for also entertaining idle chats & false accusations. you couldn't read the signs then but you can still make up for your mistakes - the day is still young. lock the thread and quell the fracas. that's just a word of advise. you can either take it or choose not to.

I guarantee you, its way higher than yours.

Thank you.

if it were higher you wouldn't conclude that most 100 level students don't know how to write a Cover Letter. and yet you're always preaching about the fallacy of hasty generalization.

if it were higher you also wouldn't expect a candidate answering questions on the fly to necessarily draft out a Cover Letter(a task which takes nothing less than one hour if you want a perfect job). for real? the most important thing was the CONTENT.

your IQ is low!. . . .very low

Bro, you really didn't expect a 100 level student to know how to write a cover letter do you?

If she had written it, I would have known someone helped her out, but since she proved she don't even know how to write it, I'd say she answered the question correctly.

You'd be amaze how many undergraduate can not pen a simple informal letter.

what's your IQ? smh
