nairalanda1: I'm cynical about all the politicans, which is why I think we should vote out Tinubu, vote in Atiku or Obi and if they do not do.well, vote them.out and continue in like vein until they learn what needs to be done.
There is no hero our there , but that doesnt mean we should tolerate Tinubu failure Tinubu is and will never be a failure. It's just amazing how we call our leaders failure when we don't even have the metrics to measure them. |
Politics › Re: I Cannot Know The Problems Of Nigeria Until I Become The President -Peter Obi (V by Darkjudge24: 9:58pm On Jun 12 |
8 MyExpression: Has Pres. Tinubu-Jagaban fixed the problems of Nigeria? Even as an insider, Late PMB was overwhelmed.
I was in the cab today, I and the driver got talking bout politics, than he gave me an innocent example that kinda caught me off guards. He said...his madam gave him a sumptuous meal, as she usually does, dished in a plate. He had been full already, as he had eaten from home....but in order not to make the boss feel bad, he took the meat, and ate in front of her, and took the rest outside, and gave to the security man. After eating the food, the security man later complained to him, that there was no meat inside.......... Instantly, I concluded that the security man was an ingrate. Then he retorted, that that's how we Nigerians have been towards the president. His point is contestable on semantics, but I didn't have the luxury of time...
In summary, he - and speaking for some Yorubas, believes that the problem of Nigeria is so overwhelming that you won't know until you're inside, and realize that even a president can't solve it easily, even in 4yrs.
He said he'll vote whoever he likes, but he's not expecting a Messiah that will come do miracles. Everyone should protect their own personal interest.
He's from Ilorin, talked about how he was driving with fear when he travelled for an occasion recently. No time to persuade him but I did let him know that we can't continue to live with the problems. Other countries are solving theirs. We should vote for a leader that is willing to try to make things better.
At the end of the day, it's not about party or sentiments. Ww have tried President Tinubu, we've seen his hands in 4yrs. Do you want to continue like this or we want to try another hand come 2027. We've seen Tinubu, let's try another every 4yrs until we get leadership right. my brother u can never get it right for 4yrs, in Nigeria no president can get it under 4yrs because our constitution and governmental structures are weak and bad so, and in the history of Nigeria as a whole there is never any president who have ruled that received the praises of Nigerians while in office. So in light of all this vote ur choice, let others vote their choice because there is no Messiah anywhere in Naija |

Some of you guys commenting that some of us are supporting Iran doesn't understand the rationale behind our support, America and it's allies, they are all bullies and standing up to a bully is not an easy task. When standing up to a bully, you will be beaten with bruises all over you but your perseverance will make them to cut a deal and leave u alone. Iran is withstanding all the pressure from America and i believe they will come out victorious and they will be left alone. |

zoghys: You're actually facing hardship and it's very obvious.Tinubu is a failure and I don't need to justify myself to you because every right thinking Nigerians knows the truth. Any sensible human being which I know some of you aren't in the class will at least be bold enough to speak the truth. If you think you are rich and neighbors around you're poor because of the myopic decision of this administration couple with it's very many corrupt practices, then don't be surprise when they rob you of your hard earn money, that's if you even have any. A progressive government nevers runs like this, and shamelessly you are bromancing this epic failure some of you talk about corruption as if corruption is a one man thing, corruption is a Nigerian thing, the just concluded jss 3 exams, in my place if you see schools especially the private schools trying to outdo one another with exam malpractice you will shudder, this I how corruption starts |

Politics › Re: I Was One Of The Targets Of The Failed Coup, I Was Meant To Be Shot - CG MUSA by Darkjudge24: 9:46am On Feb 02 |
SixSeven: With the way this government has handled the information around this coup, first from the early denial 3 months and scaring the press for irresponsible journalism and unpatriotism to now admitting that there was a coup attempt without any apology that they lied, you cannot tell me that the reason for the delay is nothing but POLITICS.
A government of propaganda is always concerned about their image and they do this with the way they manage information. It's such a disgrace and a red card because what they have done is proof that the government cannot be trusted.
Do not forget that President Tinubu did attempt a controversial "special presidential promotion" for his Aide-de-Camp (ADC), Colonel Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf, in December 2025.
The apparent contradiction can be explained by three main factors:
1. Strategic Misdirection and False Flag (October 2025): When the plot was first foiled in late September, the military and Presidency denied the coup rumors to prevent panic and deter copycat attempts. They publicly reclassified the arrests of 16 officers as "routine disciplinary actions" for career stagnation and exams. 2. The ADC Promotion Logic (December 2025): The attempt to promote Colonel Yusuf just two months later was actually tied to the coup climate. The Presidency's formal reason was "rank parity" with other Villa security chiefs, but analysts suggest it was an attempt to solidify the loyalty of the President's immediate inner circle. Promoting his most trusted personal guard was seen as a way to ensure a "last line of defense" after a major betrayal within the wider military. 3. The Admission (January 2026): The government only admitted the truth once the investigation was complete and the legal process for a court-martial was ready. This delayed confirmation allowed them to secure the administration and reshuffle top military brass, including moving General CG Musa to his current role as Minister of Defence before the public admission.
The government prioritized stability through denial in October, attempted to build a "fortress" of loyalists in December, and finally felt secure enough to be transparent in January. In short, the government lied through the seasons. Happy New Year folks. what u called lies other sanet climes call it top secret |

Ki dequir: _*▪️THE PARABLE OF THE CRACKED WALL.*_
In the city of Niraya, a single great wall stood around the people. It was old but strong, and for generations it protected them from storms, raiders, and wild beasts.
One Morning, a small crack appeared.
The City Elders warned: “If this crack widens, the wall will fall. And if the wall falls, it will fall on all of us without choosing sides.”
Instead of joining hands to repair it, the people became divided in surprising ways.
_1. The Rejoicers._
Those who opposed the city leaders celebrated the crack.
“This is good,” they said. Let it widen. When it collapses, the leaders will be shamed, and we will have our turn.”
They forgot that collapsing stones do not ask who voted for whom.
_2. The Rejecters._
Another faction said: “Nothing must work under this leadership. If we help repair the wall, we are helping them. Let it break.”
Their anger made them prefer destruction over cooperation.
_3. The Misunderstanding Crowd._
Engineers came with tools to fix the crack. But some citizens shouted:
“You want to make life harder!” “You are the cause of our suffering!” “You shake the wall because you hate the people!”
They did not understand that repairs require noise, dust, disruption, and temporary hardship.
_4. The Agitators._
The Whisperers of Chaos moved through the market, whispering:
“Look at the hardship. Look at your hunger. Rise up. Bring down the Council. The crack proves they have failed.Tear the wall down yourselves!”
They used frustration to bait insurrection.
_5. The Loyalists Who Saw Nothing._
There were also people whodid not see the crack at all.
Why?, Because their kin, their allies, or their preferred group was in leadership.
“To us, nothing is wrong, - they said. The wall looks perfect because those we like are guarding it.”
Their loyalty blinded them to the danger before everyone’s eyes.
_6. The Decorators._
Some did see the crack but decided it was harmless, but even beautiful.
“Ah, the wall now has character,” they said. It is not a threat; it is a natural design. Why worry?”
They mistook danger for decoration.
_7. The External Enemy._
Outside the city, Niraya’s long-time enemies watched and laughed.
“They are too divided to fix the crack,” they said. “They quarrel more than they think. They will destroy their own protection for us.”
All they had to do was wait.
_8. The Silenced Voice._
A wise woman named _*Naya*_ climbed a stone and cried: “The crack is the true enemy! Not the leaders, not the engineers, not your neighbour, not your rival faction. If the wall collapses, it will not care about your politics, Loyalty, or anger. It will crush us ALL.”
But instead of listening, the people shouted back:
“You support them!” “You are blind!” “You are part of the problem, "You want to silence our pain!”
Anyone who suggested another perspective was attacked and rejected. Everyone saw a different enemy - except the real on
THE FALL OF THE WALL
One night, the crack grew into a gap, the gap widened into a split, and the split turned into a ROAR.
The wall collapsed._
Wolves poured in. Fire swept through streets. Chaos filled the markets. Homes crumbled. Food disappeared. The city fell into darkness.
Those who rejoiced suffered.
Those who rejected cooperation suffered.
Those who misunderstood suffered.
Those who agitated suffered.
Those who saw nothing suffered.
Those who praised the crack suffered.
The innocent suffered most of all.
Because when a wall falls, it does not choose sides.
