The equipment are not that much.

In Ilorin, kwara state, the mould is #200 per day, shovels and spades are #100 per day, drum for water is #200 per day ( that is if the men that will work doesn't have any of those ). But if they do, they will charge higher for a unit of block.

Last time I engaged them, they charged #12 for a unit of 6 inches block.

They can finish 5000 unit in a week or two if the materials are available, enough land space and adequate men on the job.

Strict supervision is needed so as to ensure they mould the required quantity with a bag of cement ( for 6" average of 43 unit per cement bag will give you a very sound block )

Thanks for the educative info,i have called a guy that does the molding to give me his quotation, am trying to construct a two room self contain and i will settled for the hand molding blocks...i also based in ilorin too.i just dont know how many 6inches blocks that will required?

i see it as tasking and time consuming making ones block..infact most hand made block i keep seeing around are been damage as rain keep hitting the surface ,so why would people still opt for that option?please anyone that can help with the cost advantage?

The Daddy & Mummy Data : these set of customers are the grandma's,grandpa's and Sometimes you wonder daddy "wettin una dey do with data,you dey chop am?"you tend to give them top notch Service with fastest delivery response...in which they dont actually cares,just give them the data and move on they wont dash you extra cash and dont try to play game with them their sons and daughters are watching you,they usually buy 1gb or 2gb

3.Your Die Hard Customers : these people only knows one data Reseller "You".whenever you have network issue or etisalat delays in renewing your data just tell them and they understand. the day you quite data business will be the last time they buy data share because they trust only you,get 10 of them and forget about marketing,they will do the rest for you because they place data atleast once in a day

4.The Guy From Jupiter : These set of people will just drop their airtime and number as text msg or whatsapp msg and they wont disturb you about delivery time,even if you like send their data after 2days they dont care.And immediately you sent it,you will get a thank you msg from them

5. The Romantic Callers : hmmn,i have like 15 of such callers.these set of girls will always call you on phone especially at night ...they knows your name so you better play along infact you will start thinking if you have actually met them,because they are friendly. they will only refer their sisters and their females friend to you for data.They use sophisticated phones so they usually buys 2gb mtn or 1gb etisalat.when transacting with them,just try to be official because if you dont they will start asking crazy questions like,"you dont even call me","how do you make money with the airtime",its me Monica(as if you sabi her),"do you have a Gfrnd".....mtchewwww

6. The Mischievous Customers : if you just employed a new staff please always teach them how these guys operate...hmmm they are deadly and are just there to kill your data ministry...they will send 1 wrong pin out of 3pins,they will send used cards,they will always claim they make transfers which they actually don't,after you don nab them confirming it from CC...they will quickly send it and starts pressurizing you for their data.

7. The Fear Fear Guy : i just dont understand them...they are long time Customers but still they dont trust you.See Our Phone Conversations
