Before I say any other thing, I would first like to ask the OP, what do you want to do? (I don't know if this has been asked before and answered. I went through only the first page)

Why do I ask?

Usually when people ask for public opinions, deep down somewhere, they already have a choice made. They only want to see if people think the same too.

Also, your choice will help you pacify or agree with your mum on this issue. Cos in the long run, the fact that you are now man comes to play and you have a capacity to influence your mum, since she is the major determinant here (or at you made us believe).

From what I read, your dad was involved with your mum and little you 'til he died. Only his family messed up.

So again sir, what do you really want to do?

But some would rather ask to to turn off the phone... and then I wonder why I should, when my phone has airplane mode!

First and foremost, I'd like to welcome you all to this thread. I hope you'd love it here.

The aim of his thread is to create a marketplace for people to buy and sell anything- absolutely anything (well, as long as it's not a contraband or crack. It's got to be legit). I initially wanted to create a platform to sell my own products, but then I figured out I could help others sell theirs too

The mind behind it is this: I discovered that a lot of people see stuff they would love to buy being advertised online by individuals, but most are scared of being scammed/duped.

So, I offer to act as a sort of 'Escrow' between buyer and seller.

NB- This project is still in the Beta mode. I am still sort of test-running it. I really hope it comes to stay.


Now, I am aware that a lot of trusting is needed here, and it's not going to be easy to give your hard-earned cash out to someone you don't know. However, I will be more personal to those that are buying and/or selling. So they would know about the person behind this.

I know it's not gonna be easy at first and a lot of people are going to come at me. Some will call me names, but that's all expected. I am gonna create the thread all the same and see how it turns out. I hope that it lasts a while, and most importantly make people know that there are still trustworthy people in Nigeria.

There are terms and conditions, as well as rules and regulations. All this shall be made known soon and may be updated or modified as the need(s) arise(s).

- anyone buying or selling here must do so through me.
- no-one is to pay directly to any seller. Whosoever does that, does it at their own risk.
- seller will only receive their money after buyer has confirmed receipt of products(s), and in good condition too.
- this is the internet, Nairaland for that matter, you can always warn people if you ever suspect scam
