Hoping they will not start distributing cash to their supporters again.

Jumia is still burning cash and not profitable after 12 year of operation. Pathetic!

This report affects the whole group of countries and not only Nigeria. In fact Nigeria's performance is one of the best.

Hmmm...

The questions should be:

What's the date of implementation? Does the waiver affect food that have been shipped before the announcement or it is supposed to take immediate effect on all food items pending clearance?

If Nigeria that has crude oil in abundance is advising her citizens to use CNG to power their cars for the sake that it is cheaper, which country would then use Nigeria crude to refine petrol for their citizens to use to power their cars?
If everyone goes using CNG does Nigeria government know that their crude oil will almost become useless as the petrol is the most used of the derivatives of crude oil?
Let this campaign not end up like removing subsidy because as you try to close a loop hole you might be opening up others.

You made some good points but note:

Not all countries have CNG just like crude oil

CNG usage is not yet promoted across the world.

CNG has its limitations such initial cost of convertion, space for the cylinder, etc

CNG is cheaper for Nigeria as alternative because it's available in abundance..more than crude oil. Crude can finish any time soon.

CNG does not require expensive or complicated process to refine unlike crude oil.

CNG powered vehicles are safer than petrol powered vehicles. Yes. That's the fact

Very good!
