doncartel: Instead of building Lagos-Calabar highway with N15 trillion, the same amount can be invested in the power sector to give Nigerians 24-hour light.
I am arguing with someone who says that the money is better spent on the highway because Nigeria cannot achieve 24-hour electricity until like 100 years time.
At least millions of people will be taken out of darkness with N15 trillion.
Misplaced priority... The road won't reach calabar even in 2031
Havesomesense: I see some people supporting and arguing for Tinubu on this platform everyday even tho we all know that Tinubu is yet to deliver, so I want to know what you guys are benefiting from Tinubu that's making you support his government?
They only support him online... Offline they're groaning.
Nigerians are hungry but the government wants to waste $10Billion that we don't have on a coastal road.
Umahi thinks they'll give him presidency. Then Ronu slaves will tag him ipob too. Obi was well loved and accepted till he choose to contest for the presidency.
TopBanter: Giving all your corrupt and worthless politicians maximum term in office is what others than "defending" them?
How many of them did you drive out of office, after one term, to show you dont support them? Martins Elechi? Theodore Orji? Orji Kalu, Ugwuanyi, Ikepeazu, Obiano? Who exactly of your misrulers did you bounce out of office to show the world you reject corrupt and incompetent leaders?
The major curse of you hypocrites is that you cannot think before you talk.
Slaves like u you are worse... Even till today.. You will bow to your masters whip... Defending them for the crumbs dey drop for u.
You saw video of people dancing when ikpeazu party lost in Abia... We curse Uzodimma and obiano everyday.
You slaves can neva speak against Tinubu.. Even though he has and is still looting you dry.
muhammaduyusufu: We all know the tribe crying on the internet and throwing the victim card as usual. How come we have not heard the Yorubas crying for Bola Ariyo (Owner of Mami beach) that was also affected.
When the government destroys your business worth $200m+... Don't cry.
abc115: Is this really your spouse asking people not to invest in Lagos, or is this an impostor? She claims to be your wife, and you have reposted her on your timeline, in addition to photos of both of you as a couple.
As a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Presidential candidate, don't you find this message troubling?
And even the current demolition exercise for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway does not only affect people of just one ethnic group. MOST of those affected are actually Yoruba, including the Oniru family and their Mami Chula Beach resort, amongst many others.
And beyond that, the demolition is not being carried out by the Lagos State Government. The Federal Government is implementing it under Dave Umahi. How can you blame Lagos for an action of the Federal Government? Do you know how many people lost properties when the Federal Government was building the Third Mainland Bridge? Are we not now all enjoying that bridge?
And even Peter Obi, while he was Governor of Anambra, which is your state of origin, demolished the property of private businesses to make room for a road. For example, he demolished Premier Breweries in 2013 to pave the way for a road in Awka. I have a video of that incident and can send it to you. The Federal Government is paying compensation. Obi NEVER paid compensation.
Would it have been fair for anyone to have said, 'Invest in Anambra at your own peril' because of that?
Perhaps you may want to ask your wife to revisit this statement?
OkoRemi2023: Has Igbo break the chain? Currently Alex otti is question ikpeazu undocumented contracts in Abia state
Uguwanyi milked you 🤡 down, have you break the chain?
Obiano had efcc case, obi use una collective money on beer that amount to nothing, did you guys break the chain rather you're still licking the ass of obi
Your brain need to be flush off
Do see igbo people defending any of these corrupt politicians the same way Ronu slaves are defending Tinubu
Domaining101: Popular Nigerian Travel and Tourism YouTuber Tayo Aina, has come out to share his take about the current controversies surrounding the coastal Highway project that resulted in the demolition of the popular Landmark Demolition beach in Lagos.
Tayo Aina who has almost a million subscribers on his YouTube channel mainly focused on travel and tourism, communicated his thoughts through his verified social media handle saying -
Tayo Aina
One of the yoruba guys I like and respect... Not the tribal dogs that can't reason properly... Slaves to corruption.
What would someone doing thuggery for a living know about a $200M investment.
OkoRemi2023: Igbo and their wahala, they're in to fight anyone that's not on their side
First is Lagos calabar road, the next is don't invest in Lagos all because a Yoruba man outclass the dullard they presented despite the intelligentsia in southeast
So we go elect this one husband too, a bigot can't be Nigeria first lady
Your drug dealing slave master is using Nigeria money to compensate his Lebanese friend.
I don't blame you. Slaves to corruption like you are the reason Nigeria is still under developed.
Look at how investors are mocking your slave master... Igbos will remain ur problem till you decide to break the chains your corrupt masters have on ur neck.
Landmark CEO is crying because FG wants to build a highway in front of his resort blocking access to the ocean. They don't need to demolish it to damage the resort... They've greatly diminished its value with this Act.
Those telling the man to take heart and sacrifice... Have never lost up to $1m talk more of $200M
Ikaeniyan0: Even though none of Landmark even centre building was demolished, you people are still hellbent on spreading propaganda about Lagos state and the FG.
You invest in Lagos or not, the state will still be marching on.
Who wants to go to a beach that has a highway running directly in front of it?
OldBeer: Maryanne Moghalu, the wife of former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor and ex-presidential candidate Kingsley Moghalu, has sparked a social media storm with her recent social media post cautioning against investing in Lagos.
In the wake of the contentious dispute between Landmark, a prominent real estate developer, and the Federal Government, Maryanne Moghalu took to Social media to share her advice. Her post, which has since garnered over 200,000 views, serves as a warning to potential investors regarding the current climate in Lagos.
It's worth noting that Kingsley Moghalu was the presidential candidate for the Young Progressive Party (YPP) in the country's general election in February 2019.
The controversy surrounding Landmark and the Federal Government has raised concerns about the stability of investment opportunities in Lagos. Maryanne Moghalu's post adds to the ongoing dialogue about the implications of such disputes on the business environment in Nigeria's commercial capital.
Watch slaves and dogs argue under this post.... Useless and shameless lot.
