ycat: ^^^ And there lies the problem. The man may be well versed in the dark arts of He can't unlock local investment and he's having great difficulty attracting foreign investment in the volumes needed. He has a broken economy to fix and time is not on his side. He has also completely avoided the public sector reform and institutional reform that is crucial to getting this economy on a sustainable growth path. Crony capitalism is no capitalism! To complicate things, those initial policy blunders he made have proved very, very costly and their effects will not be easily reversed. He over promised and so far he has under delivered - and that's entirely his fault. 1 Like |

ycat: Omo na express road u dey enter oooo, south south has how many ports ? One in Delta, two in Port Harcourt, one in Calabar and all south south stated have boundary with the Atlantic do you know what that means? I'm addition, south south has abundance of oil assets. Imagine the crude oil money shared by everyone to only belong to the south south region? Just imagine. I can tell you for sure south south has nothing against it for it to stand toe to toe with any striving nation of the world, it is located strategically along a major sea route which will position it for global trade. What does the south west have that the south south doesn't have? Don't forget the southwest you are bragging about is just Lagos state which has had plethora of wealth lifted from the Niger Delta region into its building by virtue of it been the capital of the Federation. What else are you bragging about? Lagos was built by the resources from my region and other regions and including the south west region resources but my region is solely built by our the little peanut given to us from the large chunk we produce. Make bold to mention your state and let's do comparison with mine. Be claiming Lagos when you are from ado ekiti, ungrateful lot that want to fight the fingers that fed them. 1 Like |

APC sounded the dead knell on Nigeria's economy. The giant of mediocrity-Buhari took the country into the gutters by engaging the reverse gear that backlogged Nigeria's economic development by 50 years.. Tinubu finished it off with further cluelessness.. |

The entire corporate headquarters of oil and gas companies, banks, conglomerates, FCMG, Brewery, construction firms, Fintech were all located in Lagos including Government parastatals,Airport, Seaport, Major Hotels, Landmark Beaches, club houses, entertainment industry were all paying taxes to Lagos. Name just one that's equivalent to the above in Anambra and win ₦1millon instantly. Sonyboom: |

You guys are obsessed with regurgitating what Awolowo and his media company fed to you that Ikweerre is not Igbo and more than happy lamenting all these with Yoruba people instead of really taking an action. The world knows that Igbo land can never resemble any slum like in the Niger Delta if the oil fields in Rivers were to be located in Anambra. Even the so called Ndi Hausa dey Thank God everyday that they have succeeded in sewing into your brains that you are not pure Igbo blood, that the Igbos want to take over your oilfield blah blah blah. Keep complaining until you realise that you and your lots have no stake in Eko Atlantic city even though your oyel money is being pumped into it every month. Keep wailing Bro. Una dick dey stand once you hear Igbos idahme: |

If not for absolute stupidity on the part of Tinubu and African leaders. Why on earth should we be going begging for investment. If the business climate is right, investors will come because they see opportunities to make more money. Why will investors be attracted to a country whose currency is constantly being devalued. Inflation and devaluation will wipe out any profit they make. |
Re: QatarEnergy Not Drawn To Nigeria Despite Tinubu Visit by Anatolia: 9:14pm On May 02 |
idahme: There is no need dignifying ignoramous with a reply. They will pretend they have viable economy when we know that without the subventions from the oil of the Niger Delta all the states in the South West would not survive. 1 Like |

He went India to seek investment He forced Qatar to have meeting with him He went to France He went to Holland The thing is no one is going to invest in this Nigeria where bandits are on tiktok and get away with every attack on the road with compensation. No one is going to invest after researching the president and realising he was a known drug lord. No one is going to invest once they realise the president is corrupt to his eyeballs and surrounds himself with rogues like gbaja, bagudu, ganduje etc No one is gointo invest in a country that cannot provide basic amenities. Countries like India and Philippines don't need to travel lobby other investors, they do what they need to do attract investors. Whether you like it or not Tinubu does not have the credibility to progress Nigeria. |
